Wood vs. Laminate Flooring?

I don't have wood, but my entire downstairs is tile with the exception of my dining room and living room. I use the Hoover Floormate to keep my tile clean. I love it!!!

Love your layout Samara... and now I may have to buy one! All the tile and stained concrete in our house needs a good scrub!

I'd love to remove the carpeting in the family and living rooms and replace with wood/laminate/bamboo. But DH is opposed to non-carpeted floors :thumbdown:. He thinks it will feel too cold.

Ugh my DH was the exact same way until he found out my daddy was buying the stuff at cost for us. LOL

Our entire house is real wood and I hate it!!! But I'd hate it too if it were laminate!!! I'm a carpet girl through and through....which is why all our hard wood floors (except the hall way to the bed rooms and my girl's room) are covered with room size fluffy rugs!!!!

I love the way my floors look, but I hate living with them.....I want to be able to get on the floor and roll around with my kids and I just don't feel like I can do that on non-carpeted floors!!! Plus I'd much rather run a vacuum everyday then sweep and mop my floors every day :thumbdown:
