Will there be a SSD sale soon??

Any idea if there will be a SSD sale soon? Some of my favorite stores have been having sales lately but I have not heard the sale buzzword here at my FAVORITE store!

Just wondering.....I have sooooo much on my wish list!! :thumbup:

we have a sale every Sat!!!!! It is only on new releases ... but that is still better than most stores :)

store wide sales are usually very rare - you can always participate in the challenges to earn a coupon though!
 
well you have 20% off new releases every Saturday, can earn 20-30-40% off with Sweet Rewards and the Penny Candy is on sale now. I think like 30% off?
 
I know about the Saturday sales. I pretty much buy stuff every Saturday. I guess I should have clarified in my original post. I was meaning store wide sale. I missed a few awesome kits while we were OOT for Labor Day and there are many more on my list as well.

I do know about the challenges too. I pretty much do all the challenges but prefer not to post my kids pictures on line. I did put a couple on line and then chose not to anymore. That is just me. And I don't know how to blur their faces.

Dawn, depending on what program you have, you can use the blur tool to blur the websized version (that way you aren't doing one of your own), and just run it across their faces at full strength. What program are you running - I'm sure someone here will have it if you don't use a Photoshop product.
 
I think I've only seena storewide sale once since I started stalking this site... but it is EASY to participate in the challenges to earn a 20% off coupon... do all 4 of the From Our Blog to Yours posts (every Thursday on the blog), do 4 Shutterbug Shakedowns (you just have to take a picture!!),a nd then scrap 1 page with a new release or scrap two pages... easy peasy!

you can also use an element to cover their faces or do like I do and scrap things other then your kids. I scrap my pets and nature photographs. There are ways around it.
 
NSD, Digi NSD, and maybe another here or there..they are VERY VERY rare and special occasions here @ SSD!!

I concer with the others, blur their faces and do the challenges :) You can get some fabulous pages/memories documented and earn a coupon in the process!
 
I use PSE 3 and when I need to blur a face I just use the marquee tool to "drawl" a sqaure around the face, make sure you are on the photo layer and go under filters---> blur----> gaussian blur chose a number between 10 -15 and all's good!!!
 
I also have issues posting my kids on-line but...........I love the Sweet Rewards. So my compromise is to not share my journaling, not to put names on layouts, And to take down the ones that I feel funky about sharing after collecting my points!!--I need to take one about my son in his underwear. But one thing that I have noticed is that my pages dont have tons views. I might be more concerned if I had 100s of views but I have about 25 on most.

But the flip side is that I have saved $40.00 and scrapped over 90 pages in 2 1/2 months.
