The freakin Maintenance guys come when my house is clean?? My stupid portable a/c had a leak underneath it I wasnt aware of and while I respect they have to do their job these things NEVER happen when the house is spotless LOL, okay maybe thats cause the house is NEVER spotless. Oh well what can ya do lol, I guess in all good it made me actually clean MOST of my hosue lol. I still need to get in my three year olds bedroom today, that kid is a tornado!:thumbdown:
 
Hahahah! I'm glad to hear I'm not the only gal who feels like she needs to tidy up for maintenance/internet service men! I know I'll never see these people again, but I just can't let anyone see how messy my house gets sometimes! ;) My DH thinks I'm funny....
 
Oh my goodness!! I am the exact same way!! LOL!!! So funny! And I have to get my house cleaned today because the air conditioning people will be here tomorrow! lol!
 
DH is my maintence man so I don't have to worry about it. heheh At least you had a reason to get some cleaning done. :)
 
Bah.. I'm not cleaning for Comcast. They can bite me. LOL I told Jeff that the house would be clean when the kids are in college. Maybe. Go with that theory, Sarah. :)
 
i do the same thing, but then again i'm with you; my house is hardly ever really clean. and when it is i should take a picture to show people that i do attempt to clean it, lol.
 
LOL So glad im not the only one!! Its bad when you have to fein nekkidness to run and tidy up LOL!! I was like ummm im half naked brb, they were probably like sure lady I heard that one before. Didnt help Noah had just dumped an enitire can of coffee grounds on himself LOL
 
Gave up cleaning a long time ago. If we have company I might do a quick pick up of things laying around, but if it's just someone doing repairs, I just make sure there's nothing in the way.
 
I don't clean for maintenance people. I do, however, clean for our cleaning people. How weird is that?!
 
We had our furnace go out a while ago, and since it's not cold I waited a few days to clean the house so the repair guy could come. I normally wouldn't have cared as much, but my DH is the boss of the heating company and I didn't want his employee to raise his eyebrows. LOL

I have a few friends that have cleaning people and they say the same thing. If you don't have the clutter picked up, I guess they won't clean. I really want to get a cleaning person to come in once or twice a month, but I'm too lazy to find a reputable one. **sorry for the threadjack**

Sarah, at least you won't see him again (hopefully), but I'm sure your house is probably pretty darn spotless anyway! :) You'd probably cringe if you saw mine. By the time I get home from work, I have a hard time mustering the energy to clean.
