Annie, that totally rocks! I can't remember that one....I usually am good at remembering.

Yup definitely. I think that's why I've gotten out of making them, because I don't wear them on sig boards, and neither does anyone else. I tried wearing on for Remembrance Day on DST and got a "reminder" about sig sizes LOL.
 
I totally remember the laundry basket sig and the car sig!

I had no idea there was a size limit at DST?!
 
Ok, all this siggie talk made me want to give it a shot. Its not very good, but here it is...
 
Yeah, actually lots of sites have them ... generally a rule of 3-4 blinkies across, with a full-size ticker counting as 3 blinkies or so, and a mini ticker counting as 1 ... stuff like that. I think DST's rule is 3 - across, up to 3 rows for a total of 9 blinkies ... so if your image is bigger than that, it's not allowed ... pretty sure anyway.

That is the reason I don't have a siggie ... since most sites have rules against them now (well, digi-scrap sites, I mean)
 
Yeah, DST has rules about siggies...I think it's 3 rows of 4 blinkies (150x50) and if you want to use a ticker, that replaces one row of blinkies. No big sig tags allowed as far as I know.

DST though is really slow to load, so I can understand why they wouldn't want to make it even slower with huge graphics in siggies. I was on dialup while I was still active there and had to turn signatures off completely because the pages would stall after loading maybe 1/4 of the posts. LOL!

yep ... siggies can be death for dial-up members. If I knew a post would have tons of photos in it, I didn't even bother.

I am so glad I am past the dial-up days, only because I live in town now. :)

Oh Holy Hell, Annie!:blink: I feel like such a tool for not "reckognizing" you!

I, of course, reckognized many of my other fellow IV'ers, but many of them have the same screen names.
 
Wow - this is going to be a very colourful place if we all start making siggies! I am not sure I'm brave enough to start...

LOL, it's all gravy... I have issues keeping the same screen name for very long so I can hardly blame ya ;)

I've always done siggies to wear on my mommy board....I just never wore them in the digi world because of the sig limitations. Only when I came here did I decide to start posting them, since SSD is more relaxed. So I just brought my siggy over from my mom's board a few months ago and now other people are too...I'm glad to not be the only one!

I totally remember that one! I remember Annie's car one too.

I have no desire to make sigs anymore. Oh please, don't let this trend catch on here at SSD. LOL! If it does, I'm going to have to hit someone else up for one. I just don't have it in me anymore.
 
After seeing all of the cute sigs in this thread I decided to make one too! Thanks for the inspiration!

I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOVE the film roll tag!!!! It is so awesome!!! I wish I knew how to make something like that!!!! Very beautiful!! Actually, BOTH of them are, but I am just so fascinated by the first one!!!
