Who has a Wacom Bamboo?

I have a Bamboo now, got it a couple months ago. But I'd had a Graphire (version before the Bamboo came out) for about 3 years before that. I LOVE my tablet, I seriously couldn't live without it. I haven't touched a mouse since I got it, except when my Graphire broke (well the Graphire still worked, but I wrecked the pen...so I decided to just get a new tablet because the pens are hard to come by up here).

Seriously, it's an amazing tool...everyone should have one! :)

I just got mine for my birthday in Feb and I LOVE IT!!!! It took about a day to get use to...but taht was it!!!

My DH did get me the one with the mouse but that was only because it came with PSE6 (I only have PSE3 right now) and we needed that for our new laptop that has Vista (doesn't support PSE3). If I would ahve bought it for myself...I would ahve got the cheap $69 dollar one.....I don't like using the mouse that came with it!!!

It will come in handy though if I ever lose the pen or like already my 1 year old likes to steal it and hide it. I could use the mouse till I ordered a new pen!!!

I hated the mouse that came with my original tablet, so when I went and bought the Bamboo, I got just the tablet and pen. I didn't need the programs that came in the "Fun" bundle, and didn't need the mouse, so I just got the less expensive one that came with only what I needed.

I love my tablet, I wish I got the large one though, because I always draw and my pen hits the edge, which messes up my doodles.... :(

I like mine too but find that I only use the pen when I'm doing detail-type work on layouts. You know, like fine erasing and stuff like that. I love that you can flip the pen over and use it like an eraser without selecting a new tool. I mostly still use my mouse for everything else. I think that's partially because I rarely use my laptop at the desk and the pen isn't as comfy for me as the mouse is when I've got my tablet balancing on the couch. :p

I was going to say the same thing but Bree beat me. Dang it Bree- get out of my head!

I got one just after x-mas when Future Shop had them on sale. I got a double bonus though cause they had the wrong SKU on the box, and I got the Bamboo Fun for cheaper than I could get the Bamboo! Woot! Not that I ever installed any of the programs, but whatev, lol.

Anyways, I hold my pens & pencils really wierd so it took me a lot longer to get used to the clicking on the side of the pen, but other than that, I love it! I couldn't go back to a mouse if I tried :). It took me about a week to LOVE it, and what pushed me over the edge was when I created my first layout with it! It forces you to get used to it, you know?

I have one with a mouse and a pen...but I honestly don't use it that much.

Do you use yours mostly for just doing what a mouse would do?

Or what am I missing??

My pen IS my mouse. I don't use a mouse at all anymore. For anything! Its ALL my pen...

Exactly the same. The pen replaces the mouse (it does everything that a mouse can do, but with a bit more precision). Mind you, I was VERY clumsy with a mouse and never liked it...I'm a lot more controlled with the pen.

I have one! I won it from a contest here at SSD last year! I totally LOVE it!! I use the pen now more than the mouse!

Like Jae said, my pen is my mouse! On very rare occasions I'll use the touchpad on my laptop, but I even hate that. I need my pen!!

I'm in the minority I know, but I hate mine, except for doodling. I'm apparently just meant to be a mouse girl.
