White Elephant/Gag gifts?

So my work is having a post-christmas holiday party and we're doing a White Elephant gift exchange. I want to get something really funny, but I'm having trouble thinking of something that is funny, yet appropriate for my work (I work at an elementary school).
So, what are some of the best gag gifts you've given or received? I'm open to all suggestions!

Well, I once was the lucky recipient of a case of toilet paper at a family white elephant gift exchange.

Jordan's family does this so they aren't spending $$$ on all the cousins and stuff at the holidays. All the cousins aunts and uncles play.

The one that live in infamy, is the year that Jordan put a hot dog bun warmer in the grab bag. And it ONLY did hot dog buns, not the dogs too.

Last year I got a rice cooker from it. We do it at work too and the gifts range from a brick wrapped in a box with $20 tucked inside, to a big gift basket of bath and body stuff.

oooh, I love doing the gag gifts... I've done:

A large, empty box with a note "Thank you for sharing your box of air"

Fill a small bag with a lump of charcoal (or a few rocks painted black) and make a cute tag/topper thingy about getting coal for christmas.

A box of toothpicks

A giant bag of unscented tea lights

Breath spray (Binaca)

Athlete's foot spray

1 Christmas bauble

A thermometer

Oh geez, I'm sure I'll think of more....

Well mine might not be appropriate but are hilarious. We bought a thong, needle nose pliers, Preparation H and thong pads. I covered the pliers wording with printed out stuff that said "Thong Extractor Tool" and we put all of them in a ziploc bag with a cute little header that said "Thong of the Month Club". We also bought a pack of practice balls for golfing (it actually said practice balls on the package), some vaseline and medical gloves and called that one the Home health test for prostate exams. They were a huge hit at the party we took them too.

Go to a Goodwill or thrift store. You will be surprised at what you can find. I gave a Justin Timberlake bobble head a couple of years ago. Granted, someone may have thought that was cool, our group thought it was funny.

Not as a Christmas gift, but my friends decided to throw one in there for me at a bridal shower...they found this dinged up old plaster of paris Bugs Bunny head that was hanging up on a wall at some point - they'd found it in their old farm house and so they wrapped it up and gave it to me. Apparently the look on my face was priceless, lol...I just remember thinking WTH?!

At another of my bridal showers (the "private" kind, lol) I got a couple pairs of freakin' HUUUGE underwear, lol. I was a size 10 at the time, and was quite mortified. LOL!

Here's what we gave one year. It was funny though because we were the only ones who did a gag gift, everyone else's was serious.

One gift was a frame with our family picture in it, like someone suggested.

The other, no one will ever forget. We bought a box of chocolates and had our then 2 year old eat one and take bites of 2 others and left the half eaten ones in there. Then we took pictures of her messy face (and taking the bites) and stuck them in the box. So whoever got it was excited to see it was chocolates and we insisted they open the box. it was hilarious!

gag gifts are my favorite. what about a mini stobe light, a disco CD and a little note saying get yo groove on. PAH!!!! am i the only one LMBO with this one?

what about a mask and handcuffs and a note that says, 'get you mind out of the gutter, i thought you said you wanted to be a super-hero for halloween'. funny?? i don't know, maybe it's just me.

Our extended family does this every year too. There's been anything from an expired 6 pack of beer, a strand of paper lantern lights, a sack of those cheapy glass vases you get flower arrangements in, one of those singing fish plaque things, to ugly framed pics from the thrift store, etc.

This year we really scored. We found this giant (I'm talking huge - like 3 ft.) fish pillow at our church's silent auction. :p Needless to say, no one else wanted it so we got it cheap. I can hardly wait to see the person's face that opens it. :D

One year I got this gorgeous gift box with a big bow on it....I as so excited to open it and inside was a bag of onions lol! It was a gift exchange and the only gag gift in the bunch. Under the onions was a lotto ticket

I got this really nice picture frame with a picture of my Dad's family from the like the 1970s in it. I thought it was cool, but they were all embarressed about it. lol I usually do the whole nice gift thing though cause I enjoy having people fight over my gifts. lol I know my uncle likes to get gag ones and they have brought huge undies, condoms, things like that.

I think you should school theme it: giant pencil, a handful of broken used erasers, an old book with pages ripped out, one of those obnoxious teacher keychains that play noise, etc. :)
