White Balance Lens Cap?

Anyone ever heard of this? Looks kinda cool and with my kiddos asian skin tone, I'm always struggling with the white balance.

I haven't heard of it. It seems like a neat concept, but it's just as easy (and a lot cheaper) to have a piece of white paper or cloth along with me to set my white balance.

I just got one last week. I haven't unloaded the camera yet of my pics. I will do that today and let you know what i think! Seems pretty cool so far. I never carry a white balance card around and so it seemed a good way to lessen my photo adjustment time!

I was thinking about getting one of those too. Seems more convenient then bring along a grey card.

Oh and I liked the idea enough to buy one because I am always out with my camera and no camera bag, so carrying around anything else just wasn't happening. I will always have a lens cap with me so it seemed perfect. And with it there "in my face" I am more likely to remember to adjust the WB before I start shooting.

Those were the selling points for me. The downside, you have to have one for each of your lenses if you have more than one (that are different sizes like my 18-55mm and my 50mm). Ok off to try to see the difference LOL!
