We moved here about 6 years ago for DH's job.......while it's really not that bad out east, I do miss Kelowna!! :)

Newcastle to be precise - Historical bit coming up for all you Yanks :) The ancestral home of George Washington is about 8 miles away from me, funnily enough in a place called Washington :D . The singer Sting came from here too (he sang with The Police before going solo) you might have heard of him. Ummm, we are trying to think of anyone else you might have heard of over there. Football teams (soccer) Newcastle United. Think that might be it.

I think I'd actually enjoy a lot about living in the east ('cept for all the Leafs fans LOL) but I do have fun giving all my Ontario friends a hard time. Of course, they all mostly live here. Funny how that happens!
 
Born in NC (Camp LeJuene, a baby Marine :D ), lived there six weeks till family moved back to
Ohio.
Have lived here ever since.:)

Hahaha, we TRY to be Leafs fans, but it's really hard cause they suck so bad!!! :D I miss those Canucks, it was so fun going to their games (we lived in Vancouver before we moved here:))
 
Born in Portland, OR (Emmanuel Hospital), lived in Seattle till I was 5 then raised in Southern CA, married and lived in San Diego for 2 years then off to Spain for almost 3 years, then moved to Virgina and lived there for 3 years then back to CA for 2 years and finally home to my family here in WA and have been here since 1984. Looks like we might become snowbirds and head for Bisbee, (DH's birthplace) AZ. Who knows what the future holds.

Joined the Air Force in 1999, since then I've lived in Az, Texas, Japan, N. California.

We currently live in Anchorage, Alaska.
 
here in Indiana. i live in Kokomo but i grew up in a teeny, tiny town about a half hour or so away called Fulton. When DH was in the Army we lived in Copperas Cove TX, Hinesville GA, Baumholder Germany and Silver Spring MD.
 
I was raised in Connecticut and now live in Virginia, near Washington, DC. I've also lived in New York and Massachusetts. The Northeast will always be 'home,' but I don't think we'll ever make it back there permanently. :(
