Where do you keep your photo albums?

My photo albums are on a bookshelf in my home office. My sister keeps her albums in a basket in her living room. My friend keeps hers displayed on the coffee table. Where do you keep your photo albums? Are they stored away or on display?
 
On a bookshelf in my bedroom. It's basically one big gigantic photo bookshelf. All of my mom's and grandmother's photo boxes are store there, all of our old photo boxes and the albums I've created, plus a few boxes of momentos. It's our memory shelving unit!
 
in my bedroom. they're actually just stacked on the floor in my closet because I have nowhere else to put them at the moment.
 
Recent albums (the last 10 years, since the kids were born) are on a bookshelf in the playroom/family room. Older albums and photos are stored in a shelving unit with doors in another room. Most of those are old film photos (many of which I don't have negatives to reprint), so we wanted them safe from little hands.
 
We have the photo albums on a book case and empty microwave cart in the kitchen. Some that were too big to fit are stacked on the floor between the two. *shrug* It was the only place with room for the bookcase when we moved. They only have pictures taken with film cameras. We stopped putting photos in albums after we started using digital cameras.

Scrapbook albums are between the columns on top of the built in book shelves between the living room and dining room.
 
The digital ones are on a table in the living room and the paper ones are in my closet. I would like to change my paper ones to either 8x8 or digital... for us, the 12x12 is too bulky.
 
All my albums that include the kids are in the livingroom in a cabinet on the entertainment center.

Pre kids are in a shelf in my bedroom closet.
 
I have some in the living room, in a bookshelf and others here in my office. My older son has his own in his room. :)
 
It would be easier to describe the places in my house where I don't have photo albums! :D

Mostly, they are on shelves in my office, in the living room and in the family room. And some in the kids rooms. Let's just say I take a lot of photos.
 
The old fashioned ones - you know when you used to print photos and stick them in individual plastic pockets (I don't mean PL!) - they're buried somewhere, probably never to re-surface... My photobooks are on a shelf next to my desk which is in our (second) loungeroom.
 
We put ours in the living room. I've managed to gather some really old albums with the new ones that I made last year, and it's a pretty good collection :)
