Where do you get photos printed?

So I'm looking to get some photos printed for my walls finally. I've got a variety of sizes I need from 5x7s to quite a bit bigger than that.

I did sign up at WHCC but I haven't sent in my test prints yet. I figure I'll likely use them for the larger images but I'm curious about where people get smaller images like 4x6 or 5x7s printed? I print all my layouts through Scrapbook Pictures. Has anyone had photos printed through them? Or would you recommend something else?

I may end up just printing some of the images on my printer at home since I don't need that many but I wanted to get some opinions on what others do as well.

I've printed 8x10s all the way up to 18x24s at mpix.com and I was really happy with the quality (and price!)

If you need any 8x10's, use those as your test prints for WHCC. That's what I did with some shots of a friends wedding. They came out wonderfully, and I gave them to them and they LOVE them. They don't need to know I got them for free :p

I use Walgreen's for my 4x6's lately when they have promo's, but I've used Shutterfly before and liked them.

the problem I have with printing at home, is that my prints always stick to the glass of the frame and make a mess after a while. It bums me out.

Scrapping Simply can print photos! :) We do small sizes (4 x 6, ect.). We can even print and frame your 12 X 12 scrapbook pages - looks really nice on the wall :) We have a 100% money-back guarantee. So if for any reason you don't like them - you get your money back.
Let me know if you have any ?'s.

LOVE mpix! Make sure that you get their calibration kit (it's free) and calibrate your monitor to their printer if you want the best color. True with any printer, you'll want to calibrate to their printer.

otherwise, if I'm in a hurry, I use Costco and have been pretty happy with them too... again, it's all in calibrating your monitor to theirs for the best color.

mostly locally at like walmart, target or walgreens. I also had them done online just cant remember the site now. They messed up the order and sent alot of duplicates

I agree, the quality from Costco has never disappointed me :)

Costco's pictures ALWAYS come out too dark. I have learned it is because they don't change their settings. If they are printing 4x6 and then switch to enlargements, they are suppose to change settings?? I don't know.
My new favorite is PersnicketyPrints. I just got about 250 layouts back all in 12x12 and I haven't seen these files ever look this good! It's only $1.99 and flat rate shipping ($5 for US)
I sent some to my Mom in Jamaica too, and it was only $10 to ship there.

I usually send them to Wal-Mart or Walgreens if I am just printing a couple. When I do a large amount, I send them to Artscow.
