Yes, and it is a great movie...just not the type of movie I usually enjoy...I like stupid offbeat stuff. It makes me happy, and I don't care.

I feel your pain. My kids didn't like Elf (last year, haven't attempted to watch it this year). Plus they REFUSED to watch RUDOLPH this year :glare: .

See I usually hate that 'dumb' humor stuff and I loved it. I tried to get DH to watch but he hated it, and he loves all those slapstick comedy types. Strange huh?

Of course, 'Elf' is stupid, but it's cute-silly-stupid, and it's so nice to have a new classic Christmas movie to add to the repertoire.

Plus it's pretty much the only Will Ferrell movie children can watch under the age of, say, 27. *lol*
