when you're 99% done with a layout and your computer crashes!!!!!

I feel your pain :( My laptop is breaking and it keeps crashing whenever the charger is plugged in for some reason!

Sometimes the recover thing on PS brings my layout back up but it annoys me when it doesn't, I should save more during the process but I forget!

I keep hitting ctrl-s during the progress of making my layout at least 50 times........I already save my layout the minute I start working on it. I've learned the hard way myself too......sooooooooo frustrating :(
 
Me too--I save it before I start which makes my obsessive saving easier. I've lost too much not saving--especially back in the day when I had to leave the room when I rotated something because it took so long with my old computer. Glad it all worked out for you!
 
I only have PSE and i don't know if it's my program or my computer but saving in PSD takes soooooooo long so i never bother to do it - i may just have to start after today
 
Nooooo!! I'm so sorry. That's the worst feeling in the world. Sometimes the second attempt at a layout ends up even better than the first!!
 
I have a double-page template that I worked on for 3 hours and then crashed... I still haven't managed to redo it LOL. You have such a good attitude! Love your new page!
 
I hate HATE that feeling!! I am the WORST, I've been burned a few times by this happening, and I STILL don't remember to save as I go. You'd think I'd learn but...no.

Your page turned out awesome though! Sometimes it clicks a little faster the second go around (speaking from experience several times over...;) haha!)
 
Ugh. That is the WORST! I've had it happen a bunch of times -- you get so into the scrapping that you forget to save.
