When Your Mom Comes Out of Your Mouth...

My mom used to freak out whenever she couldn't find her nail clippers or tweezers, and I would think she was not a very good Christian for yelling about something so insignificant because I was certain that Jesus wouldn't have yelled about that.

However, now I have my own nail clippers/tweezers that ARE NEVER WHERE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE, and I get it.
And when I'm yelling at my people because "THESE ARE MY TWEEZERS THAT I BOUGHT SO THAT I WILL ALWAYS HAVE TWEEZERS WHEN I NEED THEM," I feel closer to my mom than ever before and wish that I could go back in time and ALWAYS put her stuff back when I borrowed it so that I wouldn't have to pay for my raising.

What about you? What comes out of your mouth that sounds just like your parents?

Pretty much everything. Haha! "Because I said so" is a common one, as is "Are you listening to me?" and "I'm not going to tell you again..."

Yeah I find my mom and my dad coming out of my mouth all the time now.

One of my favorites, now that is, is "I'm not so & so's mom" I remember when I'd plead well so&so gets to and my mom would reply with that, and now I'm saying it too!! LOL

Oh man, that happened to me a couple of times and I just blurted out to my daughter, "see, you made my mother come out of my moth." And she was so confussed about it

My parents' favourite phrases when answering us are my favourites too. I also use them on my husband :thumbup:
