When is NSD??

I'm so stoked cuz this year, my boys are going to be out of town for NSD! WOOT!! :w00t:

I have a baby shower to go to that afternoon, but then its straight back to the computer for more NSD madness! :w00t:
 
yes, it's May 2nd. I, unfortunately, will more than likely miss it, since we are moving into our new house next week/weekend.
 
I think I may have to ditch hubby with the kids and enjoy NSD--- it's only fair since he ditched us today-Saturday night for golf and gambling, right?

NSD always falls on or near Kyle's birthday (May 3rd) so last year I was busy getting stuff ready for his birthday party and the year before that I was coming from the hospital after giving birth! Luckily this year it's the day before his actual birthday so I should get to hang out & participate!
 
NSD = National Scrapbook Day...BIIIIG celebration in the scrapbooking world. Games, chats, etc...lots of sites have sales. Always a good time here at SSD, lol...

It's always the first Saturday of May...and is not to be confused with DSD (Digital Scrapbooking Day) which is in November. DSD was only started I think 2 years ago...NSD has been a big deal for many many years... :)
 
I can't wait! I have to work on DH to see if I can celebrate Mothers' Day early and have him watch the kids for a lot of the day. I just hope that this frustrating scrapping slump is over before then.
 
I work Saturdays so I'll be missing the whole thing :-( Maybe I'll have time to get in a little scrapping that night.
 
I think it's payback time for dh! He left me with the kids for 4 days while he went off and played with really old men and dirtygrubbyol'bullets (yes...you must run the whole string of words together :D ), so it's only fair I get a Saturday to myself!
 
I'm excited!! I plan on handing the girls off to DH. I am home all weekend with them (and my recovering mom), so I think it is only fair that I get that day to scrap.scrap.scrap!!!
