Emmy--if anyone gets a pass for shopping more than they're scrapping right now, it's you!
My folder of new purchases desperately needs my attention, too, but for me that's a good sign. I usually tackle organizing, backing up, and moving my new stuff on a night when I have no mojo and want to play with my supplies in hopes of getting inspired. But between the new challenges and all the pictures I have calling to me to scrap them, I suspect it'll be a while before I get around to that folder. I hope so, anyway!
Yes, right after you feed the 8 people who live at your house, homeschool your four boys, clean the house, nurse both babies, change their diapers, take a shower...

I had a related "duh" moment recently. I had been storing all my new goodies in a "to-tag" folder that was growing larger than my regular stash. I finally realized that I can filter the entire lot by tagged vs. untagged, eliminating the need to have separate folders.
I agree with the others - Emmy is totally allowed to shop all she wants!
oh Emmy, I feel your pain! LOL! I have spent the last 3 days organizing all my digi files. You all would be so proud of me...I did a HUGE purge of old stuff I haven't even thought about in over a year! I don't know how many gigs of space I freed up because I forgot to check before moving stuff from "active" to "cold storage". But, it really makes me feel good and ready to scrap again.
