When do your kids get out school?

another homeschooler, here too... we will switch grades May 31... but we continue with schooling through summer but more fun things like we do for focus on things J really wants to do like science experiment, USA geography, and learning about art and classical music (all his request). :) and a more relaxed schedule than during the school year
 
We end June 19th with a half day. We had about 7 school days to make up for snow. They took away 2 spring break days, turned 2 half days into full days and 3 were built into the schedule.

We end later, but start back September 4th, I think.
 
Ours are on half term starting Friday until the 2nd June and then the final term of the school years ends on the 18th July and they start the new school year at the start of September :)
 
June 2nd for mine. That's with making up 10 snow days and having 6 more waived by the state. Maybe next year they'll actually build a couple snow days into the schedule.

Same for me and Lauren (though we still have about 5 weeks), and that's hitting me much harder than the fact that she's starting K or either of my older boys having started K.

It doesn't help that Ben monopolizes a disproportionate amount of my time when he's home, and that time increases every year as his homework load does. Until now that's been okay because Lauren and I had our time together while the boys were at school and then I have some time with Jason after Ben and Lauren go to bed. After she starts K, I'll almost never have time with just her. :(
 
Just 3 more days for us. Thursday the 22nd is our last day. Some of the area schools have been out over a week now. I'm envious. LOL I'm SO ready for summer break!! I love getting 3 months off work!
 
We are out June 9. It should have been June 5, but we are also making up snow days. We had 12 or 13 this year, and actually make up 5 of them. Speaking as a teacher, I am BEYOND ready, but crazy nuts with all that is going on to bring the year to an end!
 
We had two snow days... had to make both up. We went on President's Day for one and the day after Easter for the other. I'm glad it didn't change our dismissal date.
 
We're done June 13th. That was always our last day. We usually go from the thrid week of August to the second week of June. We have a lot of "Teacher in Service" days off during the year.

We still have 3-4 snow days to make up but we can't as the middle & high schools are having their roofs replaced & a bunch of long overdue remodeling work done that has to start on June 16th.
 
Our last day was supposed to be June 3rd, but we have three more (out of ten!!) snow days to make up. Our new last day is the 6th. I'm supposed to come back that next Monday but I'll be in Colorado and that ain't happening!

We will start again on august 5th. Ugh. Lol
 
My youngest is out June 12th. I'm really looking forward to the summer. Logan and I have a great time during the summer. :)

My oldest graduates college on June 13th. He has a week off and then starts a job on June 23rd!
