What's your printer?!

I need your opinions on which printer to get.
DH and I are planning to get a printer, but we are sort of clueless what to get. We want something that's not too expensive and not too big. DH will just use it for office works; documents, etc. I, on the other hand, want to use it maybe to print some hybrid stuffs and photos. Not a whole lot of hybrid, but just occasionally using it for scrapping purpose, e.g., December Daily.
So, what's your suggestion for it? Which printer would be not so crazy expensive on ink as well? We still haven't decided whether we want a laser printer or an ink-jet printer either.

I love my Canon Pixma printer (iP 4800), it has beautiful results and the inks are not expensive, It uses 5 single inks, C, M, Y and two types of black.

kodak something or other... it's alright when it works! I've got issues having it connect to my laptop wirelessly but i have a feeling it's a laptop issue and not a printer one. I'm not sure I'd get it though because my mom and I both have the same printer and they both go on the frits a lot

I have a similar one... not sure on the exact number, but it is a HP Laser CP15000 series... good printer!

I have a Canon Pixma but not sure of the exact model. Its fairly inexpensive and prints great photos and hybridy stuff.
