What's your goal this year?

What is your goal this year as far as layouts (including PL, P52, P365 etc) and hybrid projects

My goal is to do 52 PL style pages (not sure if I'm going to do 2 pages per week or just 1), maybe another 15-20 layouts and maybe 4 hybrid projects.

I'd like to scrap at least 2 pages per day, until i'm caught up. And do the challenges here so I stay caught up on my scrapping. Also get my printing caught up. I just printed 2 albums, & i have one ready to go.

Complete PL, make progress on cohesive books for my 2 kids, and add some digital layouts to my collection. Even more than in the past, I want to work on making the layouts I create as meaningful as possible.

I just want to be able to say, at the end of the year, that I did a better job telling our family story this year than I did last year. :) No numbers, no pressure. :)

My goal this year is to actually CUT BACK on the LO's I do for my son, so I can do some more art journalling LO's for myself. I went overboard and scrapped every little thing he did last year. Then there wasn't any time for my fun stuff! So this year I'm going to do 3-4 LO's per month (plus a summary) of his book. And then 2-3 art journalling LO's/week for me this year. I'm also going to start a hands-on mixed media art journalling with the real stuff (paint, glitter, glue...)

I don't set number goals. I'm starting Project Life for the first time, so I want to stay on top of that and finish it around the end of the year (as opposed to months or years later, which is my usual).

I've been in a scrapping slump lately, and I think part of the reason is that I have so many photos and stories in my To Scrap folder that I'm overwhelmed. So I guess my goal is really to rethink how I'm scrapping so I can get past this scrapper's block. I'm hoping that if I scrap many of my "everyday" 2013 photos in the quick PL format I'll be able to put only the photos and stories I'm most excited about scrapping in my To Scrap folder. I'm even going back to past years and doing some quick PL-style pages to mix in with my annual albums so I can get those photos out of my To Scrap folder and into my albums.

to scrap as much as I can.

My PL look like this
I am doing a daily look at January. Then 20 Random days over the year. Special Occassions. And a December Daily.

I want more pages of me and DH and still the same of Niki. The aim is closer to 200 pages for this year.

I don't try to set number goals either. Just want to create meaningful pages that I have fun creating whether they're for the boys or me. I hope to participate in the portfolio as much as possible to keep me motivated.

To scrap lol.

At 36 weeks pregnant and constantly uncomfortable it's proving impossible but I'm hoping once baby is here I can find time to scrap.

No goals. In my case goals work as self-imposed pressure and I prefer to be relaxed - but of course there are people who are nicely motivated by them, so I can see why they would choose to have them. :-)

So, for me it's just to scrap and enjoy it and such.

OT - Lindsay, your signature is so pretty!!!

I'd be happy to finish the projects I have started... 2012's Week in the Life and Dec Daily... and the last three years of P365... kiddo's year of school (events we are doing for homeschool)... and to keep up with 2013's PL.

I also want to do more hybrid this year... I hardly did much last year and I miss it.

I never set number goals....I never have problems scrapping pages but I am attempting project life scrapping this year and I while I know I'll finish it i want to stay on TOP of it!!! I'm still working on my last years review pages and while I know they will get done I want them done sooner and in a timely manner!!! :D I also plan on doing a December Daily album again but this year I'd love to add some hybrid/traditional too it...either in the form of some pages for a mini album for myself!!!

I just want to keep up with my yearly album like I have the last two years, with my project life pages thrown in there... I also want to finish the December Daily album that I've been working on off and on. Yes, I will probably be posting Christmas layouts in March! lol. I've got a big vacation coming up and I would like to have that album all finished by July or so. Really, I don't have kids, so I mostly have it easy trying to keep up with my albums. I scrap events right after and love getting everything printed into photobooks.

to simplify a bit and let go of some guilt i have with scrapbooking.. i don't do it nearly enough but i want photos printed and so i'm turning to a more simple style with photobooks but still incorporating digital :)

If i can do this then i feel like maybe i'll scrap the photos/layouts that are extra special or just scrap when the mood hits

(this is all wishful thinking but goals are good :) )

I don't have number goals either, mostly because i scrap so much it'd be silly to set one LOL. This last year I scrapped 379 pages. The only goal I have scrap-wise is to do something along the lines of PL. I don't know that I'll do it in the traditional sense, but something.

oh i have another goal to get out my real camera more.. i've been really lazy since getting my iphone.

I won't set any number goals either, scrap too much on a regular basis to actually even think I could do more than I do. I would like to do more art journal pages because they tend to be about how I feel. I want to do more with the scanned photos of my grandmother's, possibly a hybrid PL/divided page protector type thing.

My goal this year is 156. It breaks down to 3 pages a week. 1 page for P365/Project Life and 2 for CT's/Me. :) For me 3 a week seems pretty doable. The hard part will be finishing up last years P365!
