Havent been scrapping much lately or on here a whole lot lately either (or at least not posting as often). What is everyone up to this weekend? I am recovering from a long week. Watching my granddaughter and some deep cleaning as well. It is exhausting getting up so early to drive to my daughters to watch the little one and still keep up with everything at home too.

My mom used to do the same thing with my sister's children and it was exhausting for her, too!

I'm trying to get caught up on my Project Life pages today. The kids are watching a movie and munching on popcorn. I think I'll watch a movie and fold laundry tonight. Any good recommendations??

Doing some cleaning and organizing and sitting down at my CLEAN desk hoping to scrap. I'm looking at my ugly desktop and trying to decide if I want to cover it with the contact paper I bought last summer or if I want to make an artsy kind of collage and then get a piece of plexi glass to go over the top. I should be cleaning the rest of the room and not thinking about the desk top but... it's ugly.

We went to the Big and Rich concert today at Sea World , well my eldest and I did, the other two went with friends to the beach. Tomorrow is cleaning and laundry day! I might try to fit in some sewing as well. I am in the mood to start a new quilt.

I cleaned off my desk (but only put the stuff on the kitchen table lol) and did some laundry, but that was the extent of it....

We've had a pretty relaxing day today. I got all caught up with my Project Life pages - until tomorrow that is. :) Gotta get our clothes ready for church tomorrow, and then I'll be relaxing for the rest of the day!

I went to the gym, helped anchor the new shelves in the playroom we're almost finished redoing, and refereed way too many kid arguments. Then we all went to IKEA and out to dinner. We picked out a new couch for the playroom, but DH has to go back and get it tomorrow so he can fold down all the seats and fit it in. Now I'm finally at my computer for some scrapping.

We have a corportate fun family day with hubby's work today... bowling! So that was fun... tomorrow... not sure what to do, I would love to get caught up on Project life and finish my cousin's album - her beloved horse of 25 years passed away earilier this month and with the help of my uncle, putting together an album for her on pictures of Spice.

My kids are fighting/arguring/annoying each other and me all day long. I escaped to town (15 miles one way) to get a coffee and try to find some sanity. Been a pretty mellow day otherwise. I have bookwork (taxes etc) to do this evening, hopefully I'll get to scrap once the kids are in bed, they 'earned' an early bedtime tonight.

I've been admiring my new stove and fridge that was installed today. I will have to call the service center Monday and have someone come back out and check the freezer door. It is not closing properly. Also have been doing laundry off and on today. Hoping to make some scrapbook pages with my new goodies but that will have to wait until later.

Worked this morning and then my daughter has a basketball tournament this weekend. Just got back from the 3rd game today (12, 3, and 6 pm games) and they advanced on to play in the championship game tomorrow, so I'll be there until about 1 tomorrow afternoon. Then it's my day off so I'll be relaxing at home and she'll be getting ready to go back to school after having this past week off for Feb. break.

We drove into Manila yesterday to go to the Mall of Asia {20 miles away; an hour and 15 minutes to get there UGH}. We went bowling, and they had bumpers...it was SO FUN. We had dinner at TGI Fridays's, too, which is a big treat for us. It was really a fun day. : )

Went junking with my mom and sister today! Tomorrow I plan on sitting down and scrapping! Gotta get to 20 points! ;)

Think I may have convinced DH that I need a set of interchangeable knitting needles for an early Mother's Day present. Fingers crossed!!!

Shopped for J's birthday, shoveled, cleaned the house and got stuff ready for tomorrow's party. Went to his choice for dinner, Red Robin and home... tomorrow, watching the Daytona 500, finishing party prep and having his family party.

This morning I did a thorough cleaning of all my kitchen countertops, removed everything and scrubbed them down. Then we went out to a late lunch. And then I went to our high school basketball game at the Phoenix Coyotes hockey arena. They were playing for the state championship. And we won! Now I'm exhausted.

Weekends are my chance to be as lazy as I can with a 5 week old baby lol, all I've done is a bit housework, caught up on the laundry as the kids needs their uniforms as they are back to school on Monday and I'm going to try and do a bit scrapping today but I might en up napping instead as baby had a rubbish sleep last night!

My eldest daughter is sick, so there's not much happening here- I'm scrapping LIKE crazy, it never fails to calm my mind, and there's quite some calming to do at the moment.
I just hate the winter. At this time of year, I already start to crave the spring, but as close to the Baltic Sea as we are, it takes a long while for spring to arrive- sometimes it's as late as May. And that's still a LONG wait. Meh.

Friday was Rachel's 4th birthday and we had a very busy day. Yesterday Lilly got sick and we had a quiet day at home. Today I am not feeling well and we are just laying around the house.

I ran a half marathon today. Haven't done much else. I'm pooped, but I did pretty well, so I'm happy about that.

We've missed you, Jessica!

We had a nice weekend... I got some scrapping done which was really great considering the bad creative funk I've been in. I also wasted some time playing plants vs zombies... LOL. We did chores, ate out at our favorite Mexican restaurant, did some grocery shopping, napped, and relaxed a little. Grace has a nasty sounding cough so i stayed home with her instead of going to church with Ben and Aaron. Then at 4pm this afternoon we packed up dinner and did a picnic at the beach. The weather was perfect and we even got a bit of a show... There was an airplane doing aerobatic tricks right in front of us out over the ocean. It was awesome... He was doing vertical climbs, stall turns ( the plane looked like it was plunging to the ground), loops, and spins.
