What's it called?

I want to make Gabriel a sensory blanket for his 6th birthday (with his special needs, feeling things is pretty much his FAVORITE thing to do). So I want to make a little square "lovey" blanket that is quartered with 4 different fabrics on it and gross grain loops on the edges. On one of the quarters I want to use a waffle weave fabric (his fave!), on one, satin, on one, wool, and on one....._________________. I don't know what it's called!

Since we are rural I can't just go into a Joann's and ask for it...I need to buy it online and I don't know what it's called to do a search.

It's that soft fleece material that has little raised-up circle bumps on it.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I LOVE minky fabrics. It sheds like crazy when you cut it, but its SOOOO soft. The Best!

Heehee, I thought it was called chenelle. :huh: But yes, Sophie's lovey has that bumpy soft fabric too. She won't go anywhere with out it! I hope you post a pic when you are done, I am sure it will be so sweet!
