What's for dinner?

What's for dinner??

I'm debating between Chili or Roast in the crock pot with potatoes and carrots. (either way they will both get made this week)

I made a roast in the crockpot yesterday...and will probably eat leftovers for days lol. Try adding 2 cans of Golden Mushroom soup..it makes delicious gravy. :)

We are having homemade baked egg rolls (filled with cabbage, carrots, water chestnuts, and scallions) and peanut butter soup to go with them.

The kids have their Awana clubs tonight, so we usually go to Chick-Fil-A for dinner! Yaaaaay! I get a break from cooking! I'm so glad to be back to our weekly routine... summer was fun, but I love when they go to Awana and I get to have a break for a night... eat out for dinner, drop them off and then wander aimlessly through the Super Target and stuff like that. ;)

Tonight kiddo starts MidWeek class at church... so as long as he is still feeling okay (he was sick this morning)... he will go to that and at 5, we (parents) join the kids for church and then there is a pizza dinner.

Leftovers from burritos last night and roast the night before. I'm having the leftover Cilantro Lime Rice for lunch. :)

havent decided yet...but I would love a steak on the bbq and some grilled mushrooms, and fresh potatos from the garden. So...as long as hubby agrees, that might be the plan! (He's not a steak guy)

Tonight is leftovers night. The kids and DH will have meatloaf, pasta, homemade rolls, green beans, and watermelon. I'll have a big salad topped with sauteed tofu, mushrooms, and onions in marsala wine.

Honestly, I have no idea. DH is stopping by the store on his way home and whatever he picks up, we'll eat.

Umm, veggies with dip and then some hummus with pretzels. I honestly haven't cooked more than 1 or 2 actual meals in a couple of months, just been eating like this. lol

It was supposed to be one of the last three meals left of the week... black bean burgers, spaghetti, or broccoli and cheese soup.

But Joel hasn't been keeping up his end of the "Kristin is back in school so it's time to do your part" deal. (Whoever cooks, the other has to clean up) So the kitchen is a MESS with dishes everywhere.

I just told him to go and get Subway while I clean up the kitchen. Argh.

Jeff's cooking tonight. :) He's making stir-fry, and seriously, it's the BEST stir-fry you'll ever put in your mouth. I can hardly wait for dinner to be ready!!

Do you make your own black bean burgers? I LOVE them, but they are pretty expensive so I need to learn how to make them!

Sorry about the mess. That's so frustrating!!

We had stir fried tofu, vegetables, rice, and homemade Pad Thai. First time I've tried this Pad Thai recipe and it wasn't quite right. The sauce was too sour. Need to look for another sauce recipe....
