What's everyone doing today?

I'm trying to stay on task and not get sidetracked, lol yeah RIGHT!!! And it's so quiet in here I can't even count on you guys to sidetrack me, rofl. What's everyone up to today? I had to get up way earlier than normal cause my daughter missed the bus (it comes at the ungodly hour of 6:30!) and since I had to take her to school I got a jump start on the day. I've done a layout, organized some digi stuff and done a load of laundry ...oh and had a knock down drag out fight :cursing::cursing: with my teenager who now thinks I'm not going to pay for prom or drive them to dinner and the prom. I know I probably will but I am SO dang mad at that boy. His bus comes at 9:45 and at 8:45 I told him to get dressed and get out of my sight so I guess he's sitting down at the bus stop for an hour. All before 9 a.m. lol. I have a lot of work I need to do today and I have a lot of scrapping I want to do and some housework. It's gorgeous outside though and I'd really love to just go out there and wash the car or something. Anyway ..all rambling aside, what's every one up to today?
 
Not much around here. Going to scrap while Emily naps and then this afternoon I have my dreaded 6 week check up at the dr, so much fun. And I guess I need to go to the store and get milk and formula.
 
Well, I woke up with a massive headache, so I took a nice hot shower and let the dog out. Now, I'm eating some toast and took my pills. Next, I'll be working on my English assignment today and I have to go to the bank and store later. Very boring to hear about I'm sure. LOL
 
I'm a cleaning fool! I cleaned my room on Sunday, and my office area. I reorganized and cleaned, I'm so happy with it! I cleaned the playroom too and reorganized.

Yesterday, I did the girl's bedrooms, and went through their clothes. Total reorganization and clean up. Today, I've done Benjamin's room, and ugh...little boys are the MESSIEST. It took 2 hours just to get the crap reorganized. I still need to go through his books, but I need to go and get a box first. Everything else, including clothes is purged.

Next, I have to get into the kitchen, which is in my plan for today. My basement will probably need a tidy after this, because all the rejected stuff is landing down there. LOL

I need to have a yard sale desperately now, there is enough clothes in the basement now to clothe 3 kids for years! So I'm a bit MIA until I get this stuff done!
 
Dang jamie I'll send you and airline ticket if you'll come be a cleaning fool here too. My nephew is getting married next weekend and we are having out of town company and they can't all stay at my mom's so I imagine I will have some here. That is part of my anxiety, knowing the house needs to be like COMPANY clean, which makes me feel guilty for taking time to scrap. So you come clean , I'll scrap and it'll all be good :P
 
Yesterday I put molding up in the bathroom, I need to finish that today but I think I'll wait til the weekend to do it.
Today I need to finish writing and print out the master copy of the newsletter I'm doing for work, then I need to do about 3 layouts, go meet DH for lunch, do some laundry, remove the carpet from my DS's bedroom, cook dinner and finish my book (Sookie Stackhouse - book 1, and it totally sucks) and then....probably by that time it'll be bedtime. :)
 
Goodness I feel guilty sitting here sipping my coffee, watching news, and in my pjs. What a slacker I am!

Well I need to focus...I am leaving for Disney soon and have a lot I have to get done before we leave...including backing up my laptop...I've got a TON of downloads on the laptop that I need to organize and put on the ehd. I should also be writing dvds to give me an extra back up...but that is prob not going to happen before I leave...so going to back up to 3 different ehd.

My mom leaves for out of town on Wednesday and will be gone for a week...so told her the boys and I would come over every day and spend our "school day" there to watch her little dog. The boys have their schoolwork on laptops so it's very easy to travel...only problem is she doesn't have a wireless network so they won't be able to do anything online unless they unplug her computer and plug theirs in. I have an air card so I will be ok. My 20yo ds is trying to talk me into a new router that will also incorporte making our printer wireless (which would be nice). Told him if we do this...then he has to install our old one at my mom's house.

When I'm at mom's...I will use her sewing machine and do a few repairs...and also cut off the boys too short jeans and hem them so they have extra shorts to wear this summer. ...so by the time mom gets back in town...we'll be down to 3 days before we leave so then I'll be in full fledged panic mode! lol

I'll be home every evening...but still makes it kinda slow getting things done at home. so I have to start getting REALLY organized!
 
it's raining so i'm feeling a bit lazy today. trying to resist the urge to go back to bed while the little guy is at preschool.
 
oh wait...you asked what we are doing TODAY (see how scattered I am?)...we have bowling league this afternoon...and school during the day...I'm going to try to work on my little 4x4" spiral book that will hold all my info for Disney in it...and try to adjust that notebook project I posted the other day...and make it considerably larger for my other kiddo...and get ready for NSD...I found a Monsters Inc inspired kit that I think I will use for it...just waiting for it to go on sale.

Oh! ...and I need to logon with my coupons and print out my free tickets to see Star Trek movie. Hy-Vee had a special (through May 6) of buying 10 Kelloggs, Keebler, or Sunshine products and you get a coupon for 2 free Star Wars tickets. I bought 20 packages of Pop Tarts (they were on sale, and I had coupons for part of them, and got ds' store discount)...so going to get 4 free tickets!

Well I had plans to work all day. But since they closed schools today due to flooding I am stuck at home with 2 wild boys.

So I guess I need to make a list of things for them to do to keep them busy.
 
Home sick. Spending the day in bed, snuggled with Tiger, watching all the shows on my DVR. Sounds nice, but I can't breath and my throat is killing me. I HATE being sick.
 
well, since i live on the other side of the world, it's nighttime here. the kids are in bed and i can finally do some designing... but no... DH is hovering impatiently, waiting to use the computer to play online poker at facebook! :/
i might as well go to bed early, my almost 3month old DD will be up in a few hours.
 
well, I am staying home from work today, because the princess isn't feeling well. Normally that wouldn't matter, as Des is normally home mornings, but he has training today, tomorrow and Thursday (8-4 today & tomorrow, 6am-2 on Thursday). I could probably leave her home alone (she is 10), but she has never stayed home alone before. Quinten was supposed to go next door to be babysat, but since Jenna is home, so am I.

I will probably finish packing/cleaning the basement today, and do laundry. If I start it now, I can knock off the entire mountain before going to bed tonight, which means I could wash/clean the washer and dryer tomorrow, and not use them again before we have to move. Last night I got 3/4 of the basement done, so I really want to get the storage room done today. It's been our "throw it all in there" room for the past two years. lol
 
We have to go to the library today because I don't want to pay a fine on Rachel's videos.
Once DH gets up, we're hoping to go on a family walk to the lake, but it's been drizzling, do not sure if that'll happen or not.
Another exciting day at our house LOL
 
Today's is my middle DS's 4th birthday :) So our plans for today are -

well, first work. DH and I don't get out until 3:30pm then we're driving out to his parents' and meeting my sister there (she'll have my kids already) and we're all going to Pump It Up for his bday.

After that, I think we're going back to my inlaws although I don't really want to stay too late since it's an hour drive home and it's a school night... but we'll see.
 
I need to finish up my list from yesterday - thankfully my best friend said she'd come over today to help me out. Not that there's a lot left to do. I'm pretty sure I'll be having a nice afternoon nap, though, since I was at her house until 5 am, lol. 2.5 hours of sleep is just not enough. :p
 
Not much, I'm afraid.

I'm at work until 1. Once I get home, I need to finish meal planning (I'm really stuck on what to make this week for some reason) and then go out and get groceries so we have something to eat for dinner tonight! I need to finish storing gifts and start writing thank you notes. I prolly should collect all the baby things in one place and out of my closet now that Tyler knows.

Another load of laundry... another load of dishes... dinner... 'American Idol'... that's abt it.

Maybe Shawn will send me some more sneak peek wedding pics tonight. I've had fun loading some of them into an album on FB so everyone else can see, too. I'm more of an attention whore than I thought, I guess, as I've just LOVED getting all the nice comments! *lol*

*WORD* I'm in the same boat as Amanda. I'm leaving my office soon to drive back to the house so DH can head down to the UH Main Campus for class. I'm supposed to be working, but so many people are out of the office due to the flooding, I'm hoping to get some scrapping done!
 
well I think I'm going to do a bit of shopping since tomorrow is my dh's birthday. I still have to get a gift then decide what exactly I want to make for dinner. So I have a friend stopping by to help me with all that. Then tonight I think we are doing a photo shoot... *but not exactly sure* lol.
 
I am done all the cleaning now, just one big thing left to tackle and that's my front closet. I *think* I can take all the winter coats and stuff out now...maybe. LOL! So that's my project for tomorrow.

I am going to do some work now, while my router is cooperating, then I'll be scrapping later this evening!
 
This morning I did laundry, dealt with some crabby kids who were really not happy that they couldn't play outside (it's cold and rainy here today), went to the store, chatted with an old friend, cleaned my god awful kitchen cupboards, sent Emma off to preschool and now here I sit with Punk until it's time for her nap. I'm gonna scrap a little (hopefully) while she naps in about an hour. Lord knows if that mojo will come back or not.
 
Just usual stuff around here...did laundry and cleaning this morning, then dropped the kids off with my mom b/c I need to make a wal-mart run AGAIN for formula and diapers and a few other things. Stayed at my mom's for lunch and then let Avery play outside for a while...the weather has been gorgeous this week but hot. I wish it would rain b/c our garden needs it desperately.

Now we're home and Avery is playing quietly with his leapster and I'm going to put Ella down for her afternoon nap here in a bit and hopefully get to sit and scrap some :)
