What's everyone doing this weekend?

I'm in a shopping mood...not that I'm usually not in one, but this time I can actually spend some $$$ since we got our bonuses today! I need jeans that make me look good, and I need to get my nails done. And since spring is here, I need some open-toe shoes to show my nails off!

Other than the spending spree (I promise not to go overboard - LOL) there's soccer registration for my oldest DD tomorrow. I'm on the fence though because the practice schedule is not known yet. They're still recruiting coaches and it's up to the coaches to get their schedules in place by June. So till then, I don't know if we'll be able to make practice. The registration fee is nonefundable - ack! Anyway, that was the plan for Sat, but if we decide not to register her for soccer, I'll have to find something else to keep her busy since she graduates from preschool this summer. :)

It is supposed to be warm & sunny for most of tomorrow, so I am hoping to be able to open all the windows in the house & complete my spring cleaning. DH will be home & able to move the heavy furniture & take down the curtains to be washed.

Other than that, I need to go buy some yarn.

I am going to a midnight crop tonight and will probably break my credit card shopping here tomorrow, then I am going to make egg rolls and fried rice because I haven't eaten anything substantial in three weeks due to the flu. LOL

So, in a nutshell - scrap, shop and eat!

I hated soccer when DD1 did it in Fall 2007 :D One of the reasons was the unpredictable schedule. Yeah, the practice schedule wasn't announced until the week before it started and I hated how the games are at different times every Saturday. So I didn't register for Spring...and right after the deadline to sign up had passed DD1 started asking about when she would get to play again. Oops! lol.

Not much here. On Saturday we're going to our Church's Easter Egg celebration and egg hunt, which is only for 3 hours. Then we're making tempura w/the girls. I'll probably make banana mini-muffins since we have a LOT of ripe bananas (got lots at Costco).

Church on Sunday as usual and then I'll need to put together goody bags for DD1's St. Patrick's Day party on Monday. I have all the other stuff - I just need to make cookies or something to fill up the bag a little bit more. Probably just sugar cookies cut w/a shamrock cookie cutter, iced and w/green and white and shamrock sprinkled on top. When school started I was bummed to see that DD1 had been signed up for the goody bag for this Holiday. There aren't that many St. Patty's Day things out there. And it's just funny b/c DD1's an Asian kid in a pre-school w/a lot of Irish kids lol.

And I'll probably be prepping for Monday's dinner. I'm making Peanut Sauce Noodles w/carrot, cucumber, and chicken. I normally would just leave it at that if it was for us...but this will also be for my sister (who just gave birth 2 weeks ago) so if anyone has any suggestions on something easy to go w/that I'd appreciate it!

nothing exciting here prolly.. I pulled out my sewing machine last night and got it all set up again (read: removed all the CHANGE my child stuck in it... He apparently thought it was a piggy bank :D :D ) It's all happy and running smoothly now.. so maybe I'll get some stuff done.

absolutely nothing planned after chat tonight. lol Today is the start of the kids two week Spring Break holidays, and my only plans for the entire two weeks is to catch up on my sleep!!!

Hopefully being super productive, lol. I've got baby books to work on, pillow covers to sew, and layouts to scrap.

Tomorrow we're spending most of the day/night down in the city. Jordan's best friend and fiancee are moving to Pittsburgh in a few weeks, and since we don't get to see them much anymore, we figured we should spend some time with them. Hopefully they won't want to go to the bars, I'm definitely not in the mood for that.

Oh and a friend and I decided to officially sign up for the Breast Cancer 3day walk. We'd been waffling on whether or not to do it, and decided to go for it. We have to come up with a team name though, and that's stumping us for now, lol.

Tempura sounds YUMMY!! Those brocolli and sweet potato pieces are my FAVORITE!

I am leaving for my cruise tomorrow! Disney cruise aboard the Magic, 7-days! I can't wait!

So have a great week, everyone!

Nothing much... Jeff closes Saturday night, so the kids and I will be at home. Abby has dance Sat morning. So I'll be here scrapping, most likely. :)

Hockey tournament. My nephew's final tourney of the season, so that will take up most of my weekend. Sorting the bazillion photos I take at it will take another huge chunk, and then need to get started on working on gifts for their year end party. I have pretty good action shots of most, hopefully all, of the boys, so I was thinking I'd do up an 8x10 hockey magazine cover for each of them.

Other than that... um... sleep? LOL Maybe get some work done around our poor, neglected yard and house.

Not too much here! Getting more spring cleaning done (yay! lol). Celebrating my nieces 16th bday (which her parents bought her a car!). Other than that just hanging with the fam.

Oh fun Mikkel! Take lots of pics, we can't wait to see what you did! My boss is doing the cruise in the fall. You're gonna have a blast!

That's why I'm apprehensive signing up. I think she'll really like it but the schedule thing is keeping me from it. I work during the day and DH does the pick up/drop off of DD2 during the day. If there's a schedule conflict he'll be running all over the place.

There's a soccer camp with a regular schedule bit it's only a week long at $100. Goes on for 4 weeks, but I can't afford to do that. Maybe I'll put her in tumbling instead. I dunno...still searching.

I almost forgot - a friend just reminded me - Sunday is Selection Sunday!!!! anyone else doing the bracket around here? Is there gonna be another thread?

Yes, there will be another thread. I'll have one up as soon as I get the final bracket. Look for it sometime Sunday evening. Signups will be open until right before tip off of the first game. :)

My cousin was supposed to come visit tomorrow, but they got to LAX and her son was too sick to get on the next flight, so they had to turn around and go home. :( We haven't told Jack (our 3 year old) yet; he's been talking about going to the airport to pick them up for weeks. And not only am I bummed about not getting to see them, but they were bringing out my Old Navy Easter outfits and our Easter basket and candy, credit cards etc.

Enough whining, though; onto the good news...WE GOT PAID EARLY! So now I have enough money in my checking account to buy groceries. Good bye peanut butter and crackers hello, well, I don't know, but hopefully something with meat, lol.

We're all bringing Amelia to ballet tomorrow, then after that, we're going to Tony's parent's. I'm going to drop Tony and the mobsters off, then I'm heading into the city to do some shopping and dinner with my mom. She flies out on Sunday lunch time, then Tony and I are taking the mobsters to the Backyardigans Live at 4:00. Then we'll make the 3 1/2 hour drive home. Should be a fun weekend, except having to say bye to my mom :(

We are getting the camper (Little Susie) opened up and checked out for our trip to KY next week and then it is off to laundry land  My two older ones will go tot he fun fair at school and then Sunday will be cleaning day...So boring...Maybe we will get a trip to Costco in there too (provisions for camping) That is about it, I am afraid I will get no scrapping done (not that I have gotten any done this week anyway!!!) but you just never know!!!!

We were going to go to a friend's dog show until we found out they were showing in the early a.m. Sorry, but I was REALLY looking forward to sleeping in Saturday! :) Sunday we might go to a parade, haven't decided yet...Monday night we're going to the Rodeo to see Miranda Lambert! Super excited about that! I haven't been to a rodeo since I was a kid. YaY!

i'm in new jersey, spending the weekend with family. my nana turns 94 tomorrow. so we're down here for the weekend.
staying at fort monmouth. like, on base. -eyeroll- not my choice. i prefer hotels. no offense to any military families intended.
ANYWAY.
i am getting TONS of pictures from my uncle. who's been scanning in the OLD OLD stuff of my great grandparents and my grandfather and all that. so those will be fun to scrap this weekend.

We are going to use the last bit of our tax money and FINALLY buy a GRILL! LOL! We had a lick of nice weather yesterday and now we are feenin' to grill! We will probably buy one at Lowes and we saw some with infrared heating and wanted to look into that.

My oldest DD has a birthday party at 12:30 today, and we all have to get showered and dressed, then go out and get a present. The pary is til about 2:30 then I have a Premiere Jewelry Party to go to at 3pm. Then My BF is having a Candle Light/Tastefully Simple Party & Adult Drinks this evening, then my DH and I are attempting to find a babysitter so we can go over to his friends house and just hang out for a little bit later i the evening. Just a normal busy Saturday-and Soccer season hasn't even started yet!
