5 month old little girl. Yes i know she won't remember this christmas as she is WAY to young too. Arianna didnt remeber hers either but we still got her something and was only 15 days old. Her's was more for decoration in her little room but Maddie is at the age where she can play with things if she trys too. so what would you get. Pics and links would be so appreciated.

Books? I really don't know on that age :D Ce's first christmas, well he was only 6 days old and we were discharged from the hospital that day-- that was more than enough of a present :D his "first" christmas he was already 1.. so he got books and what not..
 
ohh my friend has a new little girl that's almost 6 months old. I picked up some teether toys and a leapfrog baby (yes!)

I think mom got her a playtime gym thingy for the floor.

Here's a few cute things






I'd definately get her someting practical you know you'll use with her vs toys she wont' remember. Maybe throw a cute stuffed animal or something for her crib in there too :)
 
My son was 6 months on his first Christmas and we got him a couple floor play gyms (the one Meg showed above is really cute!).
 
A lot of the things Meg posted, that's what we got Rae for her first Christmas, she was only 1 1/2 months old. But the floor gyms are great! Those books are great too, the one "Who loves baby" you can put photos in, so the baby can see just who loves them. Super nice :)

she does have a little leaps from my mom coming this weekend or next week. andshe got her soem clothes too i think.

Anything that attacheds to her carseat carrier handle that she can play with will be a big hit. Connor and Myah (the infant I nanny for) both had this hanging cow that you pulled down on and it vibrated and rattled back up. Super cute and it kept them quiet in the car. You could also get her something that she can sit up and play with since she'll be sitting up on her own very soon. Perhaps something like this...

Jenny a family friend had that cow and their little girl LOVED it!

I am of no help, but now I know what to get my friends baby next Christmas! (She's due sometime in June/July I believe)
 
Board books. They will outlast most other age appropriate toys. My boys are learning to read now with the board books they got as babies
