Their letter said that you ahve to impregnate a cow every nine months to keep it producing milk? :confused: I figured it worked kinda like human women... after birth they produce milk and you produce as long as you are stimulated to produce. I dunno. But I agree with Mandy, I think some animals are here for us to use. I don't agree with TORTURING animals for no good reason, but come on.

Oh, but see...we can't do that, because we would be using rice plants...which, you know, are also living things. I guess we'll just all have to starve, because at some point, we have to eat things that WERE living and are now not living. (Seriously, I'm amazed that there isn't some sort of "don't kill the plants" movement by now, with how ridiculous people are).
 
Bree, I'll be glad to help you start the "Don't Kill the Plants" movement. We need a super cool name, though. :blink: If we try hard enough, we can probably fix it so that there is not one single thing left on the planet that people can eat.
 
I agree, adding human breastmilk is a ridiculous idea, however, a lot of cows do have it bad in some of the less organic places...

Highlight to read below, it's pretty nasty so I put it in white...

In lots of the "bad" dairies, yucky stuff happens such as the farmers cutting off two of the teats because the milker only has like 6 openings or something and also they'll feed baby cows cow blood rather than milk because milk is so precious.

I'm all for making it out of rice milk (which they already do..it's called rice dream) but human breast milk is ridiculous.

traci. whoa. first of all that tidbit with the magical white typing. WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?! that is crazy. what in the heck is this world coming to? i cannot stand those big dairies and feed lots. creepy crap going on, there is.
 
I can just see the black market for breast milk because women are hard up and would rather SELL their breastmilk than feed their own children, not to mention the HEALTH risks. They would have to FARM women and keep them all living in safe farms where they could not contract any diseases etc.
I don't drink regular mikl from a brand I don't know well, I am not ABOUT to drink some strangers breast milk.
