What the crap?!?!?! (caution: Idol spoilers)

Ok, so is anyone else as disappointed as I am that the handsome Aussie Michael Johns is gone?? HOLY CRAP!

First Idol starts off with the Top 8 and a gospel choir singing one of my personal favorite worship songs of all time...(I'm in tears).

Then they show those sweet African bebe's that I just want to put in my pocket and take home.

THEN...friggin Michael gets sent home...(I am devastated).

I [heart] you, Michael.

Anyone else feeling my pain? Anyone?!?!

Yep, I too am totally shocked! It really is true that most of the voters out there definitely don't look at the contest for what it really is all about! I say it every year!
 
Yeah, I am devastated as well.....I really though he would make it into at least the top 4 or 5 for sure.....To be sent home before Kristy & Syesha really blew my mind......There was a thread over at DST about it too and everyone over there was pretty freaked too!!!!
 
I'm with you guys. He wasn't my FAVORITE, and I didn't think he'd win it all. BUT I totally didn't expect him to go just yet. I really thought it was Syesha's night to say goodbye. *sigh*
 
I actually missed his performance...but it's definitely getting tougher. Everyone is sounding better IMO. I';m actually liking Syesha a bit more each week. I saw the little clip of Michael's performance, and it didn't look great, but didn't look awful either. But I've been sick this week, so maybe the drugs were in charge of my ears and I have no idea what I'm talking about! I love Brooke White, but I kind of thought she'd be the one to go. Weird. :p
 
Uh, my jaw dropped to the floor. OMG!!!! Michael hasn't been one of my favorites but I honestly think that someone else should've gone before him. And did y'all see and hear Carly???? She was like 'No, No, No!' Dang...and Ryan is just plain mean! OK...my rant is over!
 
WHAT? He shouldn't have gone. The other guy, the one with the white jacket, he should have gone. For the life of me, I can't remember his name now. David Cook maybe????? Kristy Lee could go too and I wouldn't be all that upset about it.

man o' man...i am still so sad today. i am just so happy that my little jason castro is still in. the boy will sell tons of records you just wait. jack johnson will be signing him to brushfire records. =)) ok...talking about jason made me happy again.
 
I'm not really all that surprised. There was one too many rocker guys and I imagine most of the votes for that genre would have gone to David Cook. Syesha and Kristy might not be as good but they are unique in that they're the only ones still in the competition doing their respective music styles. Really it all comes down to voting, not talent.
 
Yeah, Idol is just not going to be as fun to watch without Michael. But I'd be 100x more devastated if pretty Jason was going (not that I vote LOL).

But what is wrong with Ryan? why is he such a jerk? :glare:
 
Yeah, that was so crappy of Ryan to do that to Michael. And . . . I'm so sad Michael got gone. He definately didn't deserve to get the boot yet. I definately think Syesha should have been the one last night, and even though I like Kristy Lee, she's not gonna make it far. She should have gone before Michael. I hate it when things like that happen, cause it just makes me think the whole thing is fixed. Until Syesha is gone it will be sad to lose any of them. They are all so talented.
