This is a follow-on poll to my earlier post asking what kind of scrapbooking tutorials you'd like to see. If you missed that post, please check it out here:

https://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com/forum/showthread.php?t=101229

As we work on pulling together how-to information for this hobby we love, it would be helpful to know what software and tools you use to create layouts.

Please respond to the poll - you can select more than one option - and if you chose "other", please tell me more in a reply. Thanks!

So far I'm the only one that uses Corel Paint (Shop Pro) from looking at the poll. I tried Photoshop several times, but never got used to it so when I came back to digiscrapping I bought PSP version 23

I usually scrap in Artisan, but I have used the Project Life App and I have Affinity, but I find Artisan more user friendly.

I use it, too. Way back in 2005 when I started digi-scrapping (holy moly! lol), the site I was on PSP is what everyone was using. So, that's what I got and learned on. By the time I realized most people use PS and PSE, I decided I was happy with what I had and have stuck with it.

I clicked other though cause I had not thought of Corel Paint as Paint Shop Pro which is obviously made by Corel. lol

I woiuld use PSP in a heartbeat if it was for a mac. Always have preferred it over PS and I miss using it but am fully in the mac world now.

I use Photoshop Elements, but I have Photoshop CC (I use it for Lightroom). I really need to make the jump to CC, but I've not wanted to invest the time in learning it. I'd love to see a tutorial on the basics if there isn't one already. Lol!

Photoshop Elements 2022. I've deliberated on and off for years whether to go for the Photoshop subscription but I've resisted so far.

There's lots of things I still am learning about. For example I only recently realised I could use assign colours to layers (like some of the template designers do) and this is so helpful as I'm a really visual organiser. I can add a colour to identify a particular layer and use that as a guide for when I want to place other elements above or below. I've also only just found out I can use the polygonal lassoo tool to make a customised shape to fit my text in to. I always thought I was limited to basic shapes and would create a rectangle and subtract other rectangles and circles to get a sort of fit for journaling in a gap. I think that may have been a limitation of older versions of PSE and I just never realised it had been upgraded.

Oh I seem to think I used to have Paint Shop Pro right at the beginning, but it was an older version and it didn't work on my desktop when I upgraded it (talking about years ago here, time of dial up internet) and that's when I started with PSE.

Photoshop CC for my, but I also use the Project Life app on my phone n ipad for quick scrappy projects (like yearly books for my daycare littles).
Years ago I did show my daughter and a friend how to scrap in PowerPoint too.

In the fall I switched from the Photoshop/Lightroom package to Photoshop Elements. Happy so far with the scrapping but I miss Lightroom

I use PSE because I know it but I'd love to learn more about Photoshop. I have both and occasionally use the full Photoshop to do something that PSE can't do.

Paint Shop Pro user from the days it was still developed by Jasc. It is no longer being updated so I am learning Affinity Photo in case my PSP doesn't work anymore.

Tried PSE years ago and hated it.

I use photoshop CC and PSE 24. I prefer PSE for ease but actions don't work on it so I go back & forth on some pages
