When I first started scrapping I already had PSP9 on my PC so I started and self taught with that. I've since upgraded 2 times to X and now X2 and X2 is my favorite by far. About a year ago I decided to try and make the switch to PSE 5 and purchased it and I just couldn't do it...it's SO different from PSP and my brain only works in PSP now lol. I do use PSE for photo actions and things that I can't work in PSP though.

CS2.
Hoping to get CS3 sometime in the next year through academic superstore since Jordan's sister just started at Penn State. Hoping to get Lightroom too in the same manner :)

started with PSE3, then PSE4, then PSE6 and now I use PS CS3.
I love PS CS3, although it took me a little bit to adjust to (the no photo bin was a big bummer). I was able to get it at a discounted price through a Wacom offer; it was still pricey but I am glad I did it.

CS3 but I'm a beginner so I know anyone watching me do a LO would cringe at how I do it. There are so many tricks and shortcuts that would make my creative process a lot faster. but I haven't learned them yet

PSE 5

I'm debating upgrading to PSE 7 when it is released or making the jump to CS3 instead. I just don't know if I can justify the $$$ for CS3 though. Hmmmm.

PS7 - Old program on an old computer - needless to say it takes me awhile to get a LO done. Trying to talk DH into upgrading soon, the computer and the program.

I have PSE4, but I am hoping I will finally get the upgrade to PSE6 (that I've been asking for for nearly a year) for my birthday next week. Especially now that I have to deal with Vista (which doesn't like PSE4).

Other> PS 6.0. Sometimes I feel like I am writing with a pen that is running out of ink, then I learn something new. It's good for now since I still have so much to learn. But it is also annoying because 9.98888888 times out of 10 if their is an action, style, or texture, or even a custon shape that I see out there for free it won't work w/ the version I have.

I have PSE4. I got it 2 years ago so I could journal on my 12x12 layouts. I have a Wide Format Printer. I got hooked on digiscrap. But I never got any comments in my gallery. So I gave up for over a year. In July, I started coming here, and I love it here. SO now, I have done enough pages, I think I want to upgrade. I need text on a path!!! Hoping for CS3

PSPX2. I've been using PSP since version 5. I just don't have the patience to learn CS2 or 3 or PSE, even though I have PSE6. I'd rather just scrap than spend the time learning. :)

PSE5er... wishing I was a CS3er! :p

Same here!
I started with PSP8, then got CS2, then when I got my Bamboo Fun I got PSE5. I have used that the longest. Only used CS2 for like a month. Found it intimidating. Now that I have been using pse5 I think it would be easier to use CS now. I want CS3 for text on a path too.

I started with PSP 9 and went to CS3 once I started really getting into photoediting.

This is ME exactly. I learned (self taught) making sig tags in PSP 9 I think it was and now we have PSPX - hubby bought Photoshop (not sure which one) and it sits on the shelf. lol I don't even have it INSTALLED - I am TOO SCARED.
