What no New Moon thread yet???

My daughter took me to the late show so I made her go to school!! She's old enough to be responsible for her choices. If she choses to go to a late movie knowing she has school the next day than she also know that as her mother I wouldn't give her permission to miss school for a movie!! LOL!! :D She was tired and cranky but she went to school!! LOL!! :D

I've got absolutely no desire to see this one. The first movie left such a bad taste in my mouth...she's a HORRIBLE actress...no budget can fix that. Plus, I didn't care for the second book at all.

She actually acted better in this one...less stuttering/not finishing what she's saying (which I guess she does IRL too)

I just remember now after seeing that again why I started disliking Bella- stringing along Jacob... anyway, good movie but yes... someone stop making them so PALE and with lipstick (Edward's was the worst I think). They're beautiful and have gold or red eyes- we'd get that they were vampires!

I did feel like a dirty old woman with all the shirtlessness going on. But, right afterward, DH came home and worked out, so I'm not the only one who noticed the six-pack! LOL!

I took the girls to see it Friday night. I wasn't impressed, unfortunately. Luckily the girls loved it, and are both on Team Jacob. Sigh...

I went all by my lonesome on Sat. night. It was crazy packed and there was plenty of talking..lol! A few people screamed or whistled a couple times, but it wasn't horrible. The whole theater did laugh hysterically at one particular scene that was clearly just made to show off Taylor's abs. lmbo It was sooo funny!

All in all the movie was fabulous. I know many people don't like New Moon, but this was one of my favorite books. The reuniting was one of my favorite moments in the whole series, so I am very partial to New Moon. Parts of it are dull, but I think breaking dawn drags more..for me anyways. I totally loved the movie and can't wait til next June now!

So, I just got back... it was FAB. My only "gah-I-almost-couldn't-stand-it" complaints are makeup/hair related... Jasper's 'do, Rosalie's wig, Edward's lipstick, and the inordinate amount of eyeshadow on Jane. Though I must say, Dakota Fanning did a really great job capturing Jane's expressions and Taylor Lautner was a PERFECT Jacob.

*swoon*

Oh and I'm Team Edward for Bella... but recently decided that for me, I'm switching to team Carlisle. He was far less creepy-weird looking in this one. lol

I say BRAVO! The movie just looked better overall than the first and they really followed the book a lot better. The few changes that were made were better for the movie! Now the agony of waiting another 6-months

Saw it yesterday afternoon with DH and it was great! I've read the book so many times though that nothing was a surprise really. But it was definitely better than Twilight. Taylor was good, but I wouldn't say exceptional acting there. Michael Sheen gave me the creeps as Aro. LOL

OMG I just went to see it Saturday night...and let's just say I am seriously seriously obsessed with the whole Twilight Saga. Seriously I've become obsessed. I just saw Twilight last Monday and just started reading the books lol.
I made the mistake of seeing Twilight before reading the book and I have to say I was little disappointed after reading the book that they didn't do a better job in the movie. I loved all the details about Edwards love for Bella and I wish they would have showed that more.
Regardless I'm in love with story...the love of it all...the infatuation they have for each other. Totally Team Edward.
But I will say this...Stephanie Meyer has totally ruined any relationships I may ever have from here on out (she may have just ruined my current relationship too lol). My expectations will be far too high. lol

I can't wait for Eclipse on June 30th.

I loved the book so I had high hopes and ended up loving the movie. So much better than Twilight. It actually followed the book and the acting was so much better. But why the black Volvo?

I saw it last weekend with my daughter, her best friend and my best friend (who are mother and daughter). I loved it, would have preferred to watch it without my best friend asking me what was going on throughout the whole movie (she hasn't read the books), or listening to my daughter slurping her drink beside me. Ugh. And I am a mean mom ... daughter is 10 and we went to the late showing, got home at midnight and I still made her go to school the next day.
