dh & i have a date night on saturday. :) we want to see a movie, but i have no clue what is out and what is good. any suggestions? something entertaining and good.

DH and I are probably going to see Valentines Day next weekend. Its a typical "date night" movie with a ton of big stars.

Dear John is supposed to be really good too. Really dramatic love story like The Notebook (same author). Not sure if your DH would go for that.

When in Rome is supposed to be funny. I kinda want to see it. Its a romantic comedy with Kristin Bell and Josh Dumahl.

Hubby and I saw Book of Eli last weekend. Wow! It was so intense and I have to admit that even halfway through the movie I was thinking that I hated it so much. But just a few more minutes in I was thinking how awesome it was. It's pretty gory (not scary, just kinda violent), but omgosh it's really good.

I also want to go see Dear John, since I read and liked the book. Valentine's Day looks cute too.

I took my daughter and her BFF to see Valentines Day today...it was great.
We all laughed from the beginning to the end. But there were some tear jerker moments in it also. I don't think you will be disappointed with it.

Percy Jackson sucked - FYI.

At least for us it did because they changed it SO much..it was only vaguely like the book. We were so disappointed.

I am such a geek - I think we are going to go see The Lightning Thief! Dork!

Not a dork! That's what I went to last night! lol We are gonna see Wolfman in a couple of weeks and Alice in Wonderland as soon as it comes out.

Really? I knew of some changes (like why Nashville instead of St Louis) and the lack of Aries (I really wanted to see who would play him), otherwise the changes were just for action scenes (like the fight being in a different place). Though Persophine was a little much. ;) I didn't think it was fabulous, but it was cute. Probably cause I just thought the book was cute, too, not amazing that the changes didn't bother me as much as normal changes do.

We took the boys to see Percy Jackson last night and we really liked it! BUT... we haven't read the books, so there was no disappointment there.

Just a side-note: did anyone else thing Uma Thurmas as Medusa was AWFUL!? That woman cannot act worth a lick! Oy.
