Whoever invented the "terrible 2's" thingy... didn't have a 3 yo around!!!

Marc turn 3yo two weeks ago... and OMG is like some kind of evil switch was turn on!!! Is annoying, can't stop talking, don't listen... make tantrums every 2 minutes!!!

I'm ready to send him to military camp!!!

I hope now that school is on again, he can give me a break... but somehow I doubt it!

Any piece of wisdom?

I sympathize! DS was sooo sweet at 2... 2 was my favorite age, thus far... but now that he's settling into the 3's, he's a holy (or unholy perhaps!) terror! Whines, back talks, yells, won't nap... UGH! He spent a good deal of yesterday in time-out! *sigh* Take comfort in the fact that it doesn't last forever...

At least that's what I tell myself *shrug*

J's a terror now and he's not 3 yet. My dad keeps saying that he can't wait for his birthday because he'll be out of the terrible two's and I just laugh. Abby was MUCH worse at 3 than at 2, so I was prepared. Although he is 2879034809 times more stubborn then she ever DREAMED of being. Ever.

Get some earplugs, go into the bathroom turn on the water and lock the door to drown out the sound.... LOL!!!

I'm 99% my 17-month old is starting his terrible 2's. Derrick hardly ever did any of the crap this one pulls.

3 yo's are testy. they are like becoming real kids and stuff so they like to push buttons and see what will happen.

sounds like a lot of time-outs are in his future and a lot of margaritas are in yours.

good luck with all that.

Yeah, terrible twos have nothing on threes (and sometimes fours). Just make sure he knows you're the boss. His reason behind throwing tantrums is to see exactly how much of his crap you'll tolerate. He's old enough to lose some privleges like TV/videos, tricycle, etc. And lots of time outs.
Good luck. They're stubborn little suckers. lol

I never had any problems when my twins were 2, but once they hit 3 it was on like Donkey Kong and then at 4 it gets worse as they get attitudes!:cursing:

Oh, yeah!! 3 is WAY worse than 2!!!! It's because they're smarter and know how to push you to the limit. DH laughs on the days when I lock myself into my bedroom, go into the closet, and then call him so I can talk to a real adult. The kids will be still yelling through the door, as if I would open it if I only knew they were there!

3s have been WAY worse for both my kids. At 4, DS settled down some. Hoping DD does as well. She's leaving a permanent tushy mark on the timeout step. :p
