What is SchoolFeed?

Someone added me to it, and I'll be honest I was so angry my hands were shaking. I've connected with everyone from high school that I care to be connected with on FB, thanks. I really hate the idea that someone can "add" me to something without my permission.

So I logged into the app to try to disable my account, and there is no disable option. Grrrrr.

Maybe one of you can make me feel better about having to "enter high school". I mean WHO WANTS TO RELIVE HIGH SCHOOL?? I'm so much happier as a 34 year old wife and mom than I ever was as a 16 year old girlfriend and fair weather friend, kwim?

Anyway, either tell me why it's not so bad or tell me how to get rid of it. Anybody got somethin' for me?

I'm totally with you. I would be upset if someone added me and then I couldn't disable it! I hope you figure it out!!

I have no idea what it is but I saw this on their Facebook page and it made me giggle:

We're located in San Mateo, California across the street from Taco Bell.

Ooo, across from Taco Bell. Sounds classy.

Anyone can add any of their friends to a FB group without asking, at any time. Once you leave the group though, you can't be added back. It's a pain.

I've never heard of it before but if it's an app on FB you should be able to block the app. Go to Account > Privacy Settings > Apps and Websites go to edit settings and then under Apps you use click on Remove unwanted or spammy apps and find the app in the list and block it.

The same thing happened to me, Kellie, maybe it'a an AR thing?!? Anyway, I played along but I will probably never go back to the site or update anything so if you figure out how to unsubscribe let me know.

Hi guys - I signed up to this forum, just to post this - as I had the exact same issue.

I figured it out though. The way you delete your account is you have to sign into it first.

Scroll all the way down to the bottom, then click "About" in the fine printed text.

Scroll to the bottom of that and click "Feedback".

It then gives you the option to delete your account.
