Twenty nine out of thirty one days of the month I am the one that cooks, cleans, puts stuff away, etc. I don't ask for help. I don't get on him for doing other things. I don't ask for praise when I get something done.
Then, for two magical days in the month, Joel gets a bug in his pants and wants to clean. Awesome. Great. GO FOR IT! But when he does it, he hints around for help. He complains that he's the only one cleaning. He goes on and on about how this house is sooooo messy. (which, it's not, really, compared to a lot of the time. Plus, I've been SICK for five weeks!)
Then, he makes dinner. And I use the word makes lightly. He bought a pizza from the deli. Put some green peppers & ham on it. Cooks it. Then he goes on and on about how delicious it is.
He just said to me, "Sometimes when I talk a lot about pizza. It's not that I really like it that much. It's that I want you to say, "Yes, honey, this pizza is REALLY good!"
:glare:
Who's with me?
