What is a baker's dozen?

I was just looking in the store for something and i saw the link on the side baker's dozen - now i may be blind but i can't remember seeing that before

I thought it might be a sale but only some of the items are on sale and some are normal price

I just thought i might be missing something

The Bakers Dozen is a promotion we've been running over the summer months. Each week you'll find thirteen products that are 50% off for three days only. It goes live on Tuesday and runs through to Thursday night. At the moment the products that were on sale are visible but you've missed the sale by a little bit. There will be a new Bakers Dozen live on Sept 13th
