What I Did This Summer....

I finished Nathan's book and wanted to share it with you! For those of you that don't know, when it was time for us to move out of state last year, Nathan went to live with his dad and it totally stinks! I miss him constantly even though I see him every month for the weekend and I get him most of the summer :)

He has to go back next week because PeeWee football starts and my little 4th grader is playing this year!

Anyway, I created a book for him to take back with him! I was shocked to learn it was 40 whole pages! Tabatha created 4 of them for me when it was time to order and I was crunched for time...and 4 of them are quickpages :)

I included 2 pages of photos as well, a "to do" list in the beginning, and a letter to him at the end :)

You can't see the 1st and 40th pages but here they are ;)

Thanks for letting me share!Nathan is So excited about his book!

Very cool book :) I want to do something like this for my boys, but I'll probably go with the 5x7 size and do one for each.

I LOVE how you added a whole bunch of pics on the last few pages. I did that with my Mexico book. there were just SOOO many pictures to scrap them all.

Great job. I'm sure he's excited to show his book to his friends and family

Very cool Lena and I'm sure he'll be loving it while he is away from you! I love the last couple of pages with just pics too!

It's absolutely amazing Lena!! I loved looking at it so I can only imagine how Nathan will feel when he looks through it!! What a fabulous idea and keepsake for him to have. Thanks for sharing it!

BTW.. Nathan is a great lookin' kid!

Wow, Lena!! I'm totally stealing your 2-pager idea... I absolutely love this book!! How fun!! And I'm also stealing your idea of writing notes to the boys, lol!!

Wow! That book is beautiful. I'm sure he will treasure it. I love the list in the front and the note to him in the back.

Aww it's amazing Lena!! He is really going to treasure it and love being able to look through it during the times you guys are apart :) I loved the to do list & the letter at the end and the two page layouts really made the book flow nicely (totally stealing your idea lol)!

Lena, What a wonderful book of family memories for your son....I love all of your pages but most of all, I think I love your letter to your son....He is a handsome young boy and I'm sure he knows how much you love him!

I was really hoping you would post this when it was finished! It looks absolutely FAB!! I am sure he will be holding on tight to this for a long time!
