What else do you do while you scrap?

I don't know about the rest of you, but I tend to get pretty restless unless I'm multitasking, and I can never do just one thing at a time. While I scrap, I like to have my audiobooks playing in the background because otherwise I wouldn't have enough time to do both. I've gotten through most of the Outlander and Cormoran Strike series this way. What about the rest of you? Do you tend to have audio or TV playing while you scrap, or do you prefer a quieter environment?

I like to binge watch shows while I'm scrapping/designing, but it helps if it's a series I've already seen so I don't catch myself watching more than working, LOL! :D

I usually have my youngest son and/or husband around while I'm scrapping. There's often a news type show playing where I can't see it but I can hear it. Which I tend to tune much of it out. lol Or there is conversation going on here & there. On the rare (very rare) occasion that I'm home alone and scrapping...I just have it quiet. :)

I usually watch something/sort of. I use to always listen to music until I switch to a laptop from a desktop. Now the TV is always on.

Me too! Either an audiobook or music usually. Sometimes I have to pause my book to do my journaling, but otherwise, I'm almost always listening to an audiobook (all day long- not just when scrapping!) ;)

This. Or it’s something I don’t have to pay much attention to, usually a baseball game or a home design show.

I have YouTube or facebook reels playing. I do get distracted with them though, so my scrapping is then even slower than usual.

The TV is always on at my house if my hubby is home lol I can't do audiobooks when I scrap - I lose track of the story and then have to rewind ... I listen to those during my hour long commute every day instead.

I'm the same way. I usually have to pause my show or audiobook so that I can journal - I can't seem to multitask my brain that way.

I am ok with a quiet background, but I tend to be more inspired when I listen to music. I can also scrap if the girls are watching a TV show or movie that I am either not interested in or have already seen.

Funny thing is, some pages, I know what I was watching or listening to while I scrapped it!

This thursday while designing i'll definitely be streaming the eras tour :D

I often listen to Audiobooks. however I try to make sure I start them while on a walk - it's a habit for me that I got into and I also seem to be able to understand the story a little bit better if I at least start while on a walk. I use to only allow myself to listen to them while on walks but there is no shortage of audiobooks out there so I changed my ways LOL. if i'm listening while working I usually have the speed set at 1.5x but walking 1.8 - 2.0 (depending on if the narrator has an accent or not)

Either I read on my kindle, listen to music, listen to podcast or watch Bailey Sarian on youtube.

Sometimes I listen to music, but lately, I just try to enjoy the quiet when my 3 kids aren't here! If it's the middle of the day, I might be doing dishes or working through loads of laundry while working on a page. I've never really listened to an audiobook, maybe I should try one of those!

I tend to solve all my world problems while I scrap. Or replay things that have occurred in my head and analyze if I overracted, what I should have done etc.

Sometimes I want pure quiet, sometimes I play a youtube video of birds chirping outside, or waves rolling in, and sometimes binge through shows or movies. However, it helps me if I already know the characters so I don't spend all my time looking at the tv.
