What does your toddler eat for breakfast?

Mine seems ANTI-breakfast foods.

He will eat cereal most of the time but other breakfast foods seem hopeless.

He doesnt like bananas
Is very picky about whether he eats yogurt
Doesnt like Oatmeal
Will only eat eggs for my MIL ?? weird huh?
Doesnt like normal pancakes
Doesnt like Waffles
Likes bacon and sausages but I am not gonna feed that to him very often
Only sometimes like toast


Dont get me wrong, other than breakfast foods he isnt a picky eater at all. He eats great for the rest of the day.
 
My 2 year old eats Weetbix 99% of the time. Occasionally she'll choose cornflakes, Ricies or Coco Rocks, but she (like me) prefers weetbix in the morning.

Breakfast for her isn't a problem, it's the rest of the day's meals we have issues with. LOL.
 
Oatmeal. Granola Bars. PB & crackers (ritz or grahm), yogurt, cinnamon waffles (they're frozen). But 99% of the time - it is oatmeal.
 
Landen eats Oatmeal or Cocoa Krispies...he is such a creature of habit and won't even consider anything else.
 
She eats eggs, cherrios and banana for breakfast, just about every morning.
When I have homemade bread on hand I will make french toast. And sometimes if I'm in a hurry and don't have time to cook her anything it ends up being cherrios and yogurt. She's always been a good eater, which is a good thing since its was so hard to get her to gain weight...
 
I have a picky eater too, but thankfully he loves fruit. Most days it's scrambled eggs and some type of fruit or if it's a lazy day I will give him a poptart lol. He won't drink milk but sometimes will eat dry cheerios. Honestly he's not a real big breakfast eater...I don't even bother making it for him until he's been up a couple of hours b/c he won't touch it. If I'm in a cooking mood, it's pancakes or biscuits. He does HAVE to drink OJ fortified with Calcium and Vitamin D every morning. This is something he knows I won't bend on b/c of him not drinking milk. He won't even touch chocolate milk..drives me nuts!
 
Oatmeal, Cream of Wheat, cereal, scrambled eggs, bananas, toast - and they want it as soon as they get up!
 
As an adult breakfast hater, don't worry too much. It'll work out in the end. :)

I do not like eggs, waffles, french toast, cereal with milk in it, oatmeal, oranges or other citrus fruit, sausage, or yogurt with fruit on the bottom, and I've managed this long. It'll be much easier once he's old enough to eat a granola bar and/or leftovers.
 
Mine loved multigrain toaster waffles. Frozen. Once they were 2 or so I convinced them that toasted waffles with peanut butter were tasty. DS1 would eat oatmeal and scrambled eggs sometimes but mostly wanted cereal. DS2 would only (And still will only) eat waffles or cereal. I can't get fruit in them before noon.
 
Logan will eat cereal, yogurt, waffles, Pop Tarts or Toaster Scrambles (on those rushed mornings), toast - a much wider variety than the foods he will eat at other meals. But his absolute favorite is scrambled eggs. He asks for them at least once a day, whether it's breakfast time or not.
 
I do not have toddlers anymore but my kids liked cereal, eggs, yogurt, applesauce or pancakes. We never have bacon but do occasionally have sausage. Oh they LOVED french toast (and so do I) LOL
 
Nicholas is not a big breakfast person either. He needs to be up for a couple of hours before he will touch it. He does love cereal, yogurt, fruit and pancakes though.
 
Well, Rhett is usually fed by the sitter and I think they have oatmeal, french toast sticks, scrambled eggs and stuff like that. He gets a banana every morning whether he's there or at home.

I usually give him some dry cereal with his banana and once in a while a dry pancake. And he loves his milk. :) He's also a total fruit and veggie kid which makes it easier. I have a hard time getting protein in him.

My 7 year old eats poptarts or pancakes with peanut butter and syrup. He is NOT a good eater and doesn't like drinking milk and it drives me nuts!!!
 
connor has never been a big breakfast eater..if I'm lucky I'll get him to eat one of his multigrain cereal bar thingies...... otherwise, lol not really much of a chance of him eating till later.
 
pancakes or waffles with bananas, strawberries or mandarin oranges, dry cereal or rasisins

or oatmeal with dry cereal.

To make it fun I make happy faces on the pancakes and waffles with chocolate chips or make a boat out of the pancake/waffle with the fruit/cereal or a sun or something else fun! The boys love it when I give them a surprise pancake like that. I will also use whipped cream and make a heart in their oatmeal!
 
mine all need to eat the instant they get up! Breakfast here during the week is PB&J, oatmeal or cereal, with a banana or some yogurt. On Sunday, we normally do a family brunch of pancakes, eggs, bacon, etc. But the rest of the week, the kids make their own breakfasts, so it's always something easy.
 
I have been blessed with 4 great eaters (thatnk you Jesus!!) All my kids eat anything for breakfast (ages 10, 6, 4 and 1), infact they all eat HUGE breakfasts every morning....it's easily their biggest meal of the day!!!

But I don't see any reason why you DS has to eat breakfast foods for breakfast, I mean chicken is probably better for him then bacon or sausage. Noodles would just be a substitute for bread (just try and make then whole wheat noodles). Does he like fruit......I love fresh fruit for breakfast!!!

Heck....as long as he is eating who cares what it is....as long as he's not waiting to live off of sugar...then I saw fix him what he'll eat!!!! :D
 
No help here, my Mr. Mason will eat everything you named up top and the boxes that come with it if I let him :sleep:
He does not know the word Picky, LOL
 
Rachel used to eat oatmeal every morning but won't touch it now. She's not too big on breakfast...usually waits till mid morning to eat. She LOVES bacon (i put a piece of turkey bacon in the microwave for her). She's a fruit eater...she likes to dip apple chunks in peanut butter. What else....basically any fruit, yogurt, and sometimes cereal.
 
Mine usually have either cereal or toast - the toast they weren't too excited about until I started letting them have "yummy" stuff on it, like Nutella, honey, syrup, brown sugar/cinnamon (cinnamon toast)...
 
Kadyn usually has some cereal, we're just starting to let him feed himself cereal with milk! Or, scrambled eggs with or without cheese. If I'm in a cooking mood, we'll do pancakes or french toast. He's not much of a picky eater, thank goodness, loves his fruits and veggoes. We're just breaking him of a sweets habit my mom started. But, since we no longer live as close to her, he doesn't get them from us!!

As for milk, he'll hardly touch it. However, we found these little powdered flavor packets at Grocery Outlet a couple months ago and they work wonders! They're sugar free so, that's not a problem. He wouldn't touch chocolate milk but, these are banana and strawberry and he loves them, will drink 3 or 4 cups a day!! Otherwise, forget it!!
 
Mine usually eats toast or dry mini pancakes, some yogurt and a half a banana. On Saturdays I make a big family breakfast and he will eat eggs, toast, bacon and hash browns! He's a hoover when it comes to food. My 4 yr old is another story. Wont eat anything but cereal.
 
Ava usually has a 1/2 a Nutella sandwich on whole wheat, and fruit of some sort. When we have time she does eat oatmeal, or scrambled eggs.
 
I haven't read all the posts, so forgive me if I duplicate answers. My toddler only eats yogurt or toast, the occasional dry cereal (frosted mini wheats or banana nut cheerios), and pancakes or french toast on weekend mornings.
 
My kids (the 2 and 4 year olds) are horrible morning snackers. They'll eat toast, frozen waffles, cereal, yogurt, bananas, applesauce, cheese sticks, fruit snacks and the 2 year old just ate a Lunchable JR with turkey, cheese and crackers for breakfast this morning. So, pretty much whatever's in the house, they'll eat. Getting them to eat oatmeal or eggs is a bit of a challenge, but they love pancakes or waffles with bacon and sausage on the weekends when DH makes it.
 
My girls 4.5 and 2.5 usually have either hot or cold cereal and a "breakfast shake" Ok, so this might sound nasty to some lol but here is what I put in the breakfast shake and they are actually very good:

fresh banana, clementine orange, some kind of berries, any other fruit I feel like adding, fresh spinach leaves (yes I did say spinach! lol), baby carrots, some kind of nuts (pecan or walnut usually), a dash of powdered blue-green algae and barley green, water

It does come out bright green but my girls love it and its really good for them! :)
 
Ava eats anything, sometimes I swear she's a little baby garburator, lol!! Breakfast for us usually ends up being cereal (the pablum kind in yummy flavors), banana or some other fruit (yesterday it was grapes & nectarines), cherrios, whole wheat toast & unsweetened jam, or a combo of things. Like today she's having cheerios and banana.

She always has a bottle of milk to start (but she's only 13 months).
 
My 22 month old DGS will only eat baby oatmeal sweetened with applesauce or yogurt for breakfast with some toast. He is a terrible eater. His other meals are an absolute nightmare getting him to eat anything other than jarred baby food or yogurt!!
 
You say he's not a picky eater the rest of the day, so maybe he can eat something other than "breakfast food" for breakfast? What about a peanut butter sandwich or peanut butter toast? Maybe a cheesestick and some ham or turkey and some fruit.

He does like applesauce and I usually make applesauce pancakes for him if we have the time.

I guess he is too much like me. I am not a fan of many breakfast items and dont like to eat right away... seems he is the same.
