I always find that a lot of people's screen names on forums to be interesting so I thought it would be cool to know the story behind them.

So what does your screen name mean? I know some of you it's just your name, but feel free to play along anyway :p

Mine - I guess is pretty self explanatory - I'm addicted to scrapping!
 
Mine is because when I first started scrapping the "trendy" way as a paper scrapper, I was pregnant and VERY VERY ditzy, lol. So I was ditzyscrap, lol. And I have never wanted to change it, lol.

I guess I got it from my oldest daughters middle name which is grace and just added some southern thwang to it LOL!
 
My screen name before I turned fontographer is aslansavz (and I still use it in quite a few places).

It's a take on Narnia - which you'll have to 'get' to figure out :)
 
mine is a holdover from AOL days where they limited the characters. So basically it's Kansas Cowgirl abbreviated. :)
 
Well..I'm a little bit bratty (ok a lot...) and was quite the flirt before my DH tied me down. I've had this name since my Pogo days years and years and years and years ago!

I should change mine though now...I'm not so flirtatious anymore lol
 
LOL no but you know what is funny? When I went down to get my GED because I was going to nightschool after I had my daughter instead of going back to a regular highschool somehow they got the wrong date on my diploma when I got it back had 1876 on it :-P That was back in 1992 so I would have been what like 116??

Darcy! That's SO cool! I never could figure out what that meant! Now I got it! Very cool! Love it!

My friend Bobby, the DH of Sweet Genevieve was making fun of me & Gena one day and was saying that we should start our own TV show, "Digiscrapping w/Sweet Genevieve & Digideb". I LOVED it & it just stuck. So, I immediately became digideb! And my name is Debbie, but most people just call me Deb, so that's obviously where he got it from! LOL
 
Well, it's not too hard,lol. The W is my maiden name initial.

There are many other forums where I've used wildstraw. It's been my nickname for so long now, but I wanted something more personal for my forums.
Wildstraw is/was the name of a horse that I loved dearly. He died very early at the age of 7 from a heart attack. We had a lot of dreams with him and they went kaput. His name came from the original breeder and a part of Mr Wildstraw's sire's name.
 
I have had my screen name back from the first days of the family having the internet! LOL! I picked it because there was a popular song that year called HOW BIZZARE from OMC and their chorus says "Oooh Baby, it's makin me crazy" but when my friends and I would listen to it we all thought it sounded like "megan me crazy" so I picked meganmecrazy for my screen name and thought it was totally cool. ROFLMBO! And it stuck with me through all these years!
 
Mine is Mrs. and then my husband's initials. Not very original, and I came up with it when I was first married.

Reading this post makes me wish I could change my name w/o losing my post count! :P

Mine is newfiemountiewife

newfie = Newfoundlander (Newfoundland is a province in Canada, and we are called Newfies for short)
mountie = because my DH is a member of the RCMP, those cops with the red coats and stetsons, and yes he has both. And the high brown boots. Yum.
wife = because, well, I'm a Mountie's wife.

There ya go. LOL!

I use this username everywhere, except a couple of places where it was too long, I opted for mountiewife instead. I need everything to stay the same, because I am very forgetful LOL
 
My screen name most places is "Stayawake", not because I'm an insomniac... but because of a quote from my favourite movie of all time.
Joe Vs. The Volcano is the best movie ever... if you ever get a chance to watch it, DO. It was the first movie Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan made... anyway, this is one of the key quotes of the movie.

"My father says almost the whole world is asleep, everybody you see everybody you meet everybody you talk to. Only a few are awake and they live in a state of constant total amazement"

That's how I try to live - in constant total amazement of the world. I want to stay awake. :)

LOL. It took me the longest time to realize that your name was NOT GracieLou!

Mine's easy -- just my first name and an abbreviated version of my last.
 
Mine's an homage to DH of sorts. His career field wears a scarlet beret (and goodness forbid if you call it "red"...it's the one time these guys think outside the traditional crayola box, lol). Sierra represents my name, Sara. It's the phonetic for the letter S (Sara)...which is how they call letters in the military and for his job.

Mine is just an old random high school nickname that I pulled out when I had to start thinking of user names a few years ago. 'Crystal' was close to 'Christy' (my name), and 'bird' was sorta close to my maiden name. At least I think that's how it came about... :unsure:

I'm too lazy to try and think up anything else.
 
I used to use mb20girl a lot because I was a huuuge fan of Matchbox 20. When they split, I got really into Breaking Benjamin, and I thought their name just sounded so cool.
 
Mine has two meanings of sort.
1: we got married during a tropical storm
2: DH is Air Force and the planes work better when the skies are clear

This is so funny! I was just wondering this the other day...

Mine comes from my old college roommate. She used to call me AllieK (Kelli is my middle name). I just changed it to the initial of my last name.
