What do you eat for breakfast?

I'm generally a boring girl...cereal (usually honey bunches of oats) for me...oatmeal if I think my milk supply needs boosted since it helps nursing moms....but I normally don't cook. I'm too lazy and I'm not a huge fan of cooking. But we were out of milk yesterday and I wasn't in the mood for oatmeal so I made these eggs and they were so good! So good that I made them again this morning....scrambled eggs with feta cheese crumbles and pico de gallo. Yummmmmmm they are so good! I put the feta cheese in when the eggs are done so that it doesn't melt completely, and the pico de gallo goes on top so that it stays cold. This pico de gallo is tomatoes, onions, cilantro, jalapeno peppers and lime juice.

Man, I'm making myself hungry and I'm sitting here eating it!

what is your normal meal?

Slim-fast Low Carb Shake.

If I won the lottery (and an amped-up metabolism), I'd go to Bob Evans for breakfast every. single. day.

:) Michele

Ditto on the amped up metabolism michele! LOL!

Lately it's just been a Special K protein bar. Sometimes 2 depending on how hungry I get. And I try and snack on honey roasted peanuts to curb the cravings throughout the day.

I tend to skip breakfast altogther (bad, I know) because I simply am too busy getting the kids dressed, fed, and out the door that I totally forget to eat. But we I do eat its either cereal (honey bunches of oats w/ almonds) or maybe some toast. On the weekends we do "big" breakfasts when we can like pancakes or french toast or breakfast burritos.

Mine varies... sometimes it's oatmeal, sometimes yogurt, sometimes an english muffin and when I feel like splurging I eat double fiber bread with nutella and a banana on it.

Mmmmm those eggs sound yummy.

I'm normally a cereal kind of gal. I like special k with cinnamon and pecans but other times I eat frozen pancakes or waffles. I hate cooking so I'm not much help!

Lately I've been having a piece of toast, egg (cooked in microwave) and turkey sausage or bacon (if we have any bacon and every time I make bacon I think of Paula). And coffee, of course.

I tend to space on breakfast.. I'm really awful about it.. but If I DO make an effort, it's usually like frozen raspberries, a cup of tea-- and oh yes.. about 90000 supplements :D

My teenage son likes to cook , so during the summer we have fun breakfasts. yesterday he made us pancakes and bacon! :) But during the school year it's cereal and pop tarts, rofl. We have breakfast for dinner too sometimes, which is always a nice treat. I LOVE cheesy eggs!

Coffee. :)

When I actually eat breakfast I love cooking a big one. Saturday mornings we usually do that. Eggs, sausage, biscuits, grits, the works.

Either a smoothie or a coffee with a splash of choc. soy milk along with a couple slices of wholegrain rye bread with all natural PB. :)

I guess it's a Southern thing, but breakfast is a big meal in our house lol..even with DH gone I usually make biscuits (real homemade ones :) )/eggs/and some type of meat every morning...or sometimes we do pancakes or waffles. Every now and then we'll have cereal or just a bowl of grits.

I eat steel-cut oatmeal with cinnamon and splenda about half the time. The rest of the time, it's usually yogurt with lowfat granola and berries or a FiberOne bar if I'm in a hurry.

On the weekends, we usually make some kind of eggs or whole wheat pancakes.

Lately, for me, it's SlimFast shakes. But usually, we are cereal in the morning, and we have soft boiled eggs w/ toast about one day a week.

Pretty boring here. Either a bowl of cereal or oatmeal. I will do pancakes or french toast once a week or both for the kids. And will do the occasion scrambled eggs. I need to start having some fresh fruit with breakfast.

I am another one that skips breakfast and then lunch somtimes too. I need to get on a more balanced diet, im sure it would help get me back in shape. I just need to be motivated LOL. After the kids are all fed its easier to sit with a cup of coffee, yes im that lazy LOL

I rarely eat breakfast...but if I do, I have toast or cereal. On weekends, or if I'm at my parents (lol), I'll have pancakes or waffles, bacon, sausages...french toast, etc. But that's pretty rare.

A fried egg sandwich with cheese and sausage on whole wheat toast almost every morning and I don't even have to cook it myself. My DH is the breakfast cooker in our house!!!

I never eat cereal...I have to have a hot breakfast every morning or I am a CRAB!!!! :D

I love raisin nut bran or huney bunches of oats with peaches. I also love maple and brown sugar oatmeal. If my husband is home he will usually make me something to eat like french toast or pancakes or an omelette

really, either cereal and a wheat english muffin or an everything bagel. What makes it bad is the glass of diet pepsi I HAVE to have with it. It's like a drug. If I had my way, I would live at the Cracker Barrel and have breakfast there everyday.

I usually eat Special K Chocolate Delight or an english muffin with pb and sliced banana on it. Starting Monday, it will be Slim Fast!

I am not a breakfast eater, never have been, that is unless I'm pregnant. So normally it's just a HUGE mug of coffee for me!

I have eaten oatmeal every morning since I was four. It's my favorite breakfast and I believe the reason why my cholesterol is at a nice level.

Usually cereal too. I keep a box of corn flakes at work and eat it dry. But once in a while, I'll stop by a drive through and get a sausage mcmuffin before work. I have to make it quick tho b/c of work.

On weekends, I'll do oatmeal or eat out with the kids and get a joe's omellete.

Another breakfast eater here - though I now have it later in the morning (about 8:30-9 am). My favorite breakfast is the Jimmy Dean De-Lite breakfast sandwiches (english muffin, cheese, egg and some kind of meat). They're tasty, low in fat (only 250 calories), easy to carry to work and they last me 3-4 hours without needing a snack. For some reason, cereal makes me want to eat something else 2 hours later - I guess not enough protein even with the milk.

Those sound good, Leslie! And not many more calories than the SlimFast, which I'm getting sick of.

I'm impressed by the number of people who eat oatmeal. I love it, but no one else in my house will touch it!

I like oatmeal but don't eat it often. Sometimes I'll have instant oatmeal at work.

mainly coffee though! I know.. bad girl :(

Cereal (Honey Nut Cheerios) and coffee. Or oatmeal with maple syrup and coffee. Or cinnamon rolls (if I remember to get the can) and coffee. Occasionally pancakes, bacon & coffee. Once in awhile I just have the coffee. It has so much milk & sugar in it, it should count as a meal anyway. :)

We always have a big breakfast. Eggs or whole wheat pancakes. Otherwise Kashi cereal. I don't make oatmeal as much in the summer.

Usually it's oatmeal and a banana. We have a water boiler that heats water up faster than lightening. :) Very convenient for a fast hot breakfast.
