your looking at someone's LO and you see a typo/mispelling?

I'd want to know if I had one in my LO, but I worry if I say something to someone else, they may get offended. Thoughts?

This is kind of out there, but occassionally, I see someone that resizes their photos and doesn't maintain the aspect ratio (which drives me nuts) and I always want to tell them how to resize ... but I never do ... even though it would make their LO 10 times better.
 
i used to PM people and let them know about typos. but the majority didn't seem to care so I stopped doing it. also I know I have at least one LO out there with typo and I don't really care either LOL.

basically now I don't say anything unless someone is asking for CC and that goes for when I see distorted photos
 
Someone PM'ed me once when I had a typo and I was very grateful! I would've hated if I got it printed that way!

And about the aspect ratio deal... yeah that drives me nuts too and I want to say something, but I think that breaches more into CC and I'm too afraid to hurt feelings...
 
Yeah, ITA about the distorted photos, that's why I' never say anything .... but I REALLY have the urge to. Some people don't seem to mind/notice the distortion.

It sounds like typos are a personal preference, I guess I'll just keep my lips (fingers) zipped, lol. I'm kind of a dork, I actually use the spell checker in PS if I have a lot of journaling. I'm a decent speller, but am horrible with typos, even when I reread stuff.
 
It's probably my LO with the typo! Feel free to email me! I am always making typos on my stuff. I am just a horrible speller! I wouldn't be offended if someone emailed me about it. Actually it would be much better to email someone than to tell them about it in their comments. Had that happen one time in a round about sorta way. They were really nice about it but still should have emailed me instead IMHO!

I don't think I would email someone about their picture sizing unless they asked for CC. I also would hate to hurt someones feelings. If they are ok with it then surely I can be to.
 
I make typos ALL the time, so I really appreciate it when someone lets me know either by PM or just mentioning it in the comments.
 
I actually tell them. I would want to know if I had a mistake. Jennilyn actually pointed one out to me once and I was SO thankful!! I hate typos!!
 
Er, PLEASE send me a PM if it's one of my pages where there's an error, ladies. Nettie-ese isn't for public consumption :o

Sheri, my dear PS goddess, please PM me with a resize hint/tutorial? I think I've got it, but am always open to learning new stuff!
 
I PM people about spelling mistakes and responses have been grateful, but I wouldn't PM about distorted photos.
 
I would wanna know, but unless someone is asking for CC, I wouldn't say anything because I have seen some people get really offended by it. If it was someone I knew pretty well though, I'd let her know.
 
I am horrible at spelling. Strange, too, since I was an english major!!
If you see something in one of MY layouts TELL ME!!!
 
I'm always appreciative when someone points out one of my many errors. I'm a horrible self-editor, but I can pick'em out everywhere else LOLOL. Not that I think I'm perfect, but I tend to have read it so many times, that I just read over it instead of reading it for correction. So please, feel free to PM. If I can get it fixed before I print - great!!!!
 
I think Darcy said it best - when we are checking our own, we've typed it and reead it so it just doesn't get noticed. I recently did a LO w/ my aunt's pictures from Hawaii and although I didn't spell anything wrong, I did leave out a word. LOL - I am just to lazy/busy to go in a fix it. :D

I would want to be told though. Especially in the coming months while I scrap pictures of that same aunt (because she passed in April) for all my cousins for Christmas. :)
 
I completely agree with Darcy and nikkie.....I can catch others, but lately I have gotten like 3 of my LOs printed and saw typos!!! That irritates me about myself--feeling like I am not being careful enough, so if anyone sees a mistake on mine, PLEASE pm me!!!!
 
I assume there are spelling errors and typos in my journaling & I am always glad when someone points it out to me. Usually it is things I do so often I just don't catch it - like typing hte instead of the or typing "the" twice in a row.
 
For me, I would always love to get a tip or comment that will help make my pages better. I feel like every page I post is a chance to learn more about this scrapbook hobby.

And if I have a typo............I would love someone to point it out to me before my mother-in-law does!!!!!!
 
I'm with everyone, please point it out to me. I try to catch things before I post them but no one is perfect and things get overlooked. I prefer to catch them before they are printed, and an extra pair of eyes sometimes do the trick!
 
lol, distorted, not-aspect ratio photos drive me bonkers! I can't see how it wouldnt look funny to who ever does it, lol. but i won't point it out. I don't wanna hurt anyones feelings. unless they are asking for CC.
 
yeah I had a error in my title once....darn kids running arround....so I was very happy when someone pointed it out to me I would have never noticed other wise and my page would have been printed saying tootless instead of toothless
 
Man I typo all the dang time...It's me...so I usually never fix it...my legacy is that I'm make typos all the time....I'm not a bad speller, just a bad typist.
 
oh ...it is probably mine with my little boy... i have kaneyboy you are the THE CAT'S meow....nice..i didn't even notice it until my dh said..ugh..ash..did you read that before you put it wherever it is you girls put these things..and i was like.YES a MILLION times..and then he pointed it out to me...after i had posted it EVERYWHERe...so i just put a little disclaimer stating that i had NO CLUE that i had done it until it was too late..chalk it up to my space casedness....total space cadet! believe me... :) so if it was mine..yep i knew it was like that...but please let me know if you see anything jacked up on mine :) i would LOVE to maybe fix them and make them look presentable :) haha..kidding i would fix! xoxo

yep, this is what someone else told me . . . that the typos were a part of her and she wanted her pages to reflect how she really is.

LOL!!! i LOVED that you did that..i was like..yep..so me :) i remember that layout..so CUTE! i commented on it, too...love it!
 
Oh if it's me, please let me know! LOL! But if you don't, trust me, my mom will when she sees it. She delights in pointing that stuff out, LOL!
 
I am such a typo whore LOL Its insane, please never think twice to pm me babe! I think its really kind of you to take the time to help like that!
 
Ok...if anyone sees a typon in a LO of mine....PLEASE tell me! lol! I am horrible at that kind of thing and i would so want to know!!
 
I am always up for CC. So feel free to PM me and let me know if I have a typo or if I am resizing my pictures wrong. I would actually really appreciate it. :)
