What do you do when you want to pamper yourself ?

So Yesterday and today i have pamperd myself with some threads i got some awesome news this week i have been waiting on for years ! and i whas so proud i wanted to do something nice

So i went to the hairdresser and cut my hair , I don't know why but i always cut my hair when something big happend , Then i went shopping and both myself some new pants and to top things off , i colord my hair and have taken a long bad with a good book .

what do you do to pamper yourself ?
 
Good for you! I always feel pampered when I get a hair cut too. :)

Usually if I want a little pick-me-up, I'll paint my nails. It's my happy place. And even though I know I shouldn't reward myself with food, there's nothing like an iced coffee and a cupcake to remind me how amazing life is! :D
 
Sleep - LOL. I don't pamper myself really - I'm not into girly things like hair cuts, manicures, and shopping (shudder - I hate to shop!). I'm not into shoes either. :D I do color my hair but only when it gets to the point where I can't stand the grey anymore (so about 3 times a year - LOL).

I get plenty of me time to read and quilt and garden so that's my "pampering" time. The one thing I don't do enough of is sleeping, mostly because there are other things I want to be doing!

I go out with girlfriends once a month or so - always fun to go out to eat and laugh with friends!

@ Marie , i also don't go a lot to the hairdresser 2 times a year is a lot and then i enjoy it . and reading and garding is such a good thing to pamper yourself i love to read
@ cindy , i don't think the pictures i take outside today show it off good so tomorrow i will make some new ones the color is dark with a bit of a purple shine over it and it is only like 15 cm shorter and in layers but my mother says you don't see it all that good because my hair is really lon lol !!

oooh going out to eat something is such a fun thing today what is your favorite food or place to go to ?

How do I pamper myself? It really depends on my mood.
Mostly I go shopping - cosmetics, clothing, accessories, hobby stuff, home appliances, whatever I am up to at that moment. Sometimes I go out to a fancy restaurant, other times I go to the movies. I cut my hair once a year or two because I really hate it that hairdressers cut too much length!!! I've never gone to a salon to do my nails.
 
When I need to pamper myself I usually go for a mani / pedi and also get my hair cut / colored as well :)
 
I don't pamper myself that often, I consider it more spoiling myself by buying some new books for my Kindle, buing new pens (I am a pen addict!) Or sometimes I even buy new make-up. :)
 
I don't pamper myself that often, but if I do, I usually get a pedicure.

I went and got a mani/pedi a few days ago...love the feel of fresh nails...especially my toes since I'm starting to wear sandals more and more....gotta love California. :)

I get my hair cut and colored every 2/3 months.

A weekend away with my girls always leaves me feeling refreshed and relaxed.

A nice glass of wine usually does the trick, too.
 
Well... hello... I have a confession... I pamper myself A LOT!!!
I go to the salon every week to do my hair, pedicure and manicure twice a month. SPA every six weeks or so.

Shopping is sort of pampering, but I do that when I´m sad or upset... LOL!
 
I love to buy new books for my kindle, like Mel. I also love mani/pedis but don't do them too often. I'm looking to change that. About a week before having my baby I went and got my lashes tinted, brows waxed/shaped & tinted, and gel nails. It was sooo nice!

Or ask hubby to take me for a nice lunch/dinner.

Here, I don't really go out without him.
 
I go every 5 weeks for hair (darn grey which I can't stand). I really feel pampered to get a facial but I don't do that very often. My other pampering is shoe shopping; I made a deal with hubby for every 20 pounds I loose I get new shoes. 10 more pounds and I get new shoes.
 
Pedicures. I love having painted nails, but work doesn't allow it so every 6 weeks, I allow myself a pedicure so I can have painted toenails at least.
 
Hmm... either I never pamper myself, or I do it so much that it's just part of my routine, lol! I can't really think of anything outside of what's been mentioned. I guess if I do want to do something kind to myself, I'll purposefully let things that 'have to get done' go and go to bed early with a book or something. You know, to remind myself that I don't have to come last.

I'd say this is me, too. The height of luxury is for DH to be home with the kids for a few hours while I'm sitting at Starbucks (or even alone in the basement!) scrapping. Second best is to spend a few hours scrapping in the middle of the day while the kids are at school and I'm purposely ignoring housework and things I should do for work. If I can't make either of those happen, I buy myself some scrap stuff or a Kindle book.
