I read that a few months ago-I really enjoyed the insight into early Mormonism...it was really a great read. In fact I liked it so much I went out and bought it, to have to read again.I'm currently reading The 19th Wife by David Ebershoff. Historical fiction of the first years of the Mormons interwoven with a modern day murder mystery. I'm only 60 pages in . . . and reserving my opinion until the end. I'm intrigued at this point.
Oh! That's a good series!
The Alienist... great book

I've got The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls sitting here waiting for me, but I haven't started it yet.
I read the first two a long time ago when they first came out (2nd chance was one)....I think we are talking about the same series. I absolutely loved those! I'm a sucker for James PattersonI also have the Women's Murder Club series by James Patterson waiting for me.
I wish I had started on page one of this topic before I replied....cause I'm reading it too! I love it, but it's intimidating every time I look down and see that, oh yeah, I'm still on page 203 and it's over 1000 pages. I think it'll be worth it though. We can do it! Hang in there! :thumbup:I just picked up Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged. I've had it on reserve at the library...and had no clue it was well over 1000 pages. I have a feeling I'll have to renew it in a few weeks LOL...or else stop scrapping for awhile...and I can't do that!
