What Are You Reading?

Ooh, I have March on my shelf to read . . . glad you gave it thumbs up. I'll probably start it next.

I'm currently reading The 19th Wife by David Ebershoff. Historical fiction of the first years of the Mormons interwoven with a modern day murder mystery. I'm only 60 pages in . . . and reserving my opinion until the end. I'm intrigued at this point.

I just finished a light read ~ Deep Dish by Mary Kay Andrews. Fun and entertaining.

I just got done reading the Uglies & The Pretties and am waiting on The Specials...
A trilogy from Scott Westerfield.
GREAT reads.

I got those for Christmas, but I just bought the Sookie Stackhouse series last month and want to read those first.

I read that a few months ago-I really enjoyed the insight into early Mormonism...it was really a great read. In fact I liked it so much I went out and bought it, to have to read again.

I'm almost done reading Marley & Me and then I'm going to start The Host by Stephenie Meyer.

I still miss reading the Twilight series.

I'm on Book 5 of the Harry Potter series. I'm going to finish them up, then I have A Dirty Job by Christopher Moore waiting on my bookshelf. I also have the Women's Murder Club series by James Patterson waiting for me.

I just finished Any Way You Want It by Kathy Love and really liked it, I'm looking forward to reading the 2nd book - I Want You to Want Me which should be ready for me to pick up @ the library tomorrow.

Now I'm getting ready to start reading Hunted by PC Cast, which is the 5th book in the House of Night series.

Ooh, thanks for the input! I'm liking it so far, but you just never know. Sometimes they fall apart.

Did you ever read his book, The Danish Girl? I thought that was fantastic!

I finished Kisscut by Karin Slaughter today. She's becoming one of my favorites. I started on A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray.

Shannon, I have The Uglies Trilogy on my wishlist, gonna get those soon. You like them so far?

I also have the Women's Murder Club series by James Patterson waiting for me.
I read the first two a long time ago when they first came out (2nd chance was one)....I think we are talking about the same series. I absolutely loved those! I'm a sucker for James Patterson :)

I just picked up Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged. I've had it on reserve at the library...and had no clue it was well over 1000 pages. I have a feeling I'll have to renew it in a few weeks LOL...or else stop scrapping for awhile...and I can't do that!
I wish I had started on page one of this topic before I replied....cause I'm reading it too! I love it, but it's intimidating every time I look down and see that, oh yeah, I'm still on page 203 and it's over 1000 pages. I think it'll be worth it though. We can do it! Hang in there!

I'm a big James Patterson fan as well! Though I stopped reading for like a year or so and he got SO far ahead of me in the 2 series (Cross series and Women's Murder Club) that I've never caught up! I'm really trying to find which of each of them I left off with and carry on.

I will probably finish up The Dante Club today and then I will read book 2 in the Thursday Next series "Lost In A Good Book"....

I really loved them Manda-They were quick reads...and then fundamental theme good vs evil is one of my favorites!
I read the first two in less than a week and am waiting for the third to be in...HS kids are notorious for checking a book out and keeping it forever!

I'm reading "One False Move" by Harlan Coben. I love all his books but especially his Myron Bolitar series and I have one more to read to get caught up before I read his newest release "Long Lost" which came out the end of last month.

I'm reeading The Scarlet Letter and just started American Wife (by the author who wrote Prep... her name escapes me right now...)

this thread makes me want to check out all these new-to-me authors!

I just finished The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, it was fabulous! Nothing like anything I've read. It's a bestseller right now too!

Another one of my favorites...I read it a while back and have been recommending it to anyone that asks, lol...

I am totally lame. I'm reading 'What To Expect When You're Expecting.' I don't think I've read any fiction books in a couple years.

It's such a shame, too. When I was in high school, I had read every paperback historical Christian romance in the library.

reading the replies made me remember that DH and I are reading The Uglies together. We are half way through and like it. Its different than what I normal read but has a fun storyline.

Living Dead in Dallas, the 2nd book in the Sookie Sackhouse Series by Charlaine Harris.

Love this series......can't wait for the new one coming in May I think
I also read her other series as well and they're all good

I'm currently reading the final book in the Vampire Diaries series, the books aren't too bad but they are certainly no Twilight saga

also I'm pondering getting the Kindle2 with my income tax money....does anyone have it? is it worth the money?
