I love positive vibe threads. Tell me something you're looking forward to today, this week, or this month. Or just share some happy news.

For me, I'm looking forward to seeing my husband today. He's been overseas working for almost 3 weeks, and gets back at lunch time. Kids and I are going to surprise him at the airport. So excited! :D

I'm looking forward to starting to see some of my goodies in print in the next few months, PLUS going to Vegas for CHA PLUS going to Vegas for the SSD staff retreat again in October!!

Yay he gets home, Jacinda!

My inlaws get here tomorrow! We're going to have three days with them here in Manila, and then we're going to Indonesia for a week on Saturday. This is a good week for us! : )

You're just showing off. October is four months away.

My son's last day of school is this Thursday. Then we will most likely go to see Monsters Inc 2 at the drive-ins on Friday. Both of my kids' birthdays are coming up in the next couple of weeks, and we're having a carnival birthday party for them! I'm planning lots of fun games, face painting, balloon animals, etc. Can't wait! :)

I'm looking forward to having our new A/C system installed. We've been without air for about nine days now. I'm excited for that to be over. :D

Yesterday I was thrilled to find out the sex of my baby! Every one assumed it was a girl. It's another boy just like I said :D

My sister and BIL are getting here on Tuesday! We haven't seen them since their wedding a year ago March, and for some reason (not being frustrated about men anymore) she doesn't call me as often, so I'm super excited to see her.

I have to take a week of unexpected time off since I wasn't going to have a babysitter the week of 4th of July so I think I am going to make an impromtu trip from WA to San Diego CA and stay with my old babysitter who said she had room for us to stay :) and will take the kids to Legoland and probably just hop around San Diego and then see the fireworks down there :)

I am taking a long weekend over FOJ and can't hardly wait!

So far this calendar year, I've had 2 hours off work, so getting 5 days in a row is going to feel like Heaven!

L.J.'s birthday is this coming Saturday so I'm looking forward to the easy planning and clean up of the bowling party he decided on. :)

I am super excited and really looking forward to my MONTH of vacation from work that starts on this coming Saturday :w00t: I am even more excited that during that month my daughter and I are traveling from Maine out to Colorado, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, and S. Dakota to see Mesa Verde, the Grand Canyon, the Arches, SLC (and hopefully Lydia!), Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse and many points in between.

As excited as I am, Angie I am totally jealous that you get to bum around San Diego! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that city and want to take Cheyanne there but that will have to wait for another trip.

I'm excited that our contracts to re-finance our home are finally here, and hopefully it will all be finalised this month!! Its a big deal to me, as we were with a finance company and now, finally, we will be with a bank. Goal achieved!!

My new nephew is 10 days old, and later this week my kids will be done with school and we can finally go meet him. I'm also excited about seeing my parents and siblings and their families on the trip.

My mother just unearthed a box of old pictures of her as a child and my grandma as a young woman so I'll be doing some heritage layouts..a first for me.

Yay! So much good news! It makes me feel happy reading this thread. Congrats on the boy news Cindy!

ohhh and I am looking forward to meeting Kristin and her family along with a bunch of other local girls :)

I'm looking forward to this too! :)

We will be arriving at Cherry Hill on July 4th Lydia - coming in from Moab which I think is only about 300 miles away or so? So we should be there in mid afternoon I would imagine. We'll be there all day Friday the 5th and will be leaving in the morning on the 6th to head up to Colter Bay. With it being the holiday I'm not sure what you have for plans but maybe we can meet up on Friday :)

After having a rummage sale for the last four days... I'm looking forward to NOT having to run the rummage sale... hahahaha!! Of course not looking forward to the piles of laundry that was ignored all week, the cleaning up the mess in the basement as I was pulling stuff to sell, the hauling the stuff that will be donated... but yay for not having to deal with people!!! Geez, it really takes all kinds to make the world go around, doesn't?

I am looking forward to my in-laws visit in a couple of weeks. Since we moved, it is just the 3 of us... so it will be great to see some familiar faces and talk in our Alabama dialect without people looking at us strange (lol!).

I am looking forward to my birthday tomorrow!!! Wooot! 33 years young. :D I'm also looking forward to my Grandma coming to visit for two weeks. She flies in from NY on Thursday. We always have a fun time crafting and just hanging out at the beach or pool together. <3 her!

I had a good friend in college from Tuscaloosa. She had mostly trained herself out of her southern accent, but when her parents came to visit, she slipped back into it. I loved her accent. I wish I could sit around and listen to you talk, Tronesia. :)

Tronesia I know all about Alabama dialect! I live in Huntsville. Where is your family from?

Thanks Jacinda & Lydia! I'm actually excited about it this year. I am officially comfortable with my thirties! ;)

I am excited about next weekend. I (think) my hubby and I are going to get to actually go somewhere and have a little fun. He's had one day off since the beginning of April and that was to take me to the doctor.
