What about points we have no control over?

Just curious...

Possible situation: We do all the challenges, buy new products every week to get the extra points, etc. and at the end of the month we have all possible points but have never been picked for a Gallery Standout so we don't make the top 5.

How does that work?

I love doing the challenges here anyway so if I don't get in the drawing, I'm still having a blast and getting cool new products to work with, but I was just wondering and thought other people may be thinking the same thing.

I guess that's what make the competition more fun. For us to be innovative and more creative to picked out on from the gallery.

(though I think I'll even be able to churn LOs to picked as of this time yet, there are numerous amount of great scrappers out there!)
 
I actually never thought about that part of the point system....bummer for me cause I doubt I would ever be picked for a stand-out either.....

I didn't even realize that you got extra points for being a gallery standout..I guess I just like to do the challenges {and I probably haven't read the FAQ's on the challenges really well}...but I agree, that is a very good question Tracy...
 
So you haven't been picked as a Gallery Standout on the Blog in February yet. But you are the ONLY ONE w/OVER OVER OVER 50 points in my Excel spreadsheet (please note = I have not recorded anything since last night lol...b/c I think there's probably 2 other girls that will pass that mark once I finally get to these tabs I have full of challenge LOs lol)
 
Hey, I should have 50 points when you update next. I currently have 46 and have done two challenges with new stuff to bring it to 50.
 
BTW, I never have been picked for standouts either and it's ok. That's only a very small amount of peeps anyway.

What I meant was there is a small amount of peeps that get picked AND are doing the challenges too. I just wanted to make the clear. =))

Plus, the gals do a really good job of "spreading the love" around for the gallery standouts, I don't think it's going to come down to 1 point for those top spots (at least not 1 point that would solely be due to the standouts). :)

In my excel I have you down for 48 at the moment. But yeah...haven't recorded anything since yesterday lol. I'm SURE your one of the tabs I have open :p
 
Thanks for the encouragement girls! I just thought I would bring it up and I guess I wasn't the only one wondering.

I would just hate to put in all the effort I possibly could and then not be eligible for the drawing on a technicality that wasn't addressed. :)

LOL I didn't even realize there was extra points for that! Is there extra points for layout of the week? I only ask cause i was last week and I only need 3 more points for my 40% off WOO HOO So every point counts for me and I have been having some major scrap blockage. ROFL

Yep I got my code :) Spent it already LOL I had to get Julies new spin your wheels kit and I really need to scrap with it to get my double points! LOL
