I just got a letter from our mortgage company. We have one of those subprime loans, and our rate is supposed to go adjustable in May. Our budget's tight enough as it is, so I was scared to death about the rate increase. Thankfully the letter today said our rate's gone down, which comes out to ~$200 less than our current payment.
PHEW! I can't tell you how much this has kept me up at night! DH is a disabled vet and I'm stuck in a job that hasn't promoted me in 4 years, all this time with a growing family to support. :glare: Hopefully that will all change this year, but the mortgage thing is definitely a huge weight lifted off my back!
