What a great article on iphone photography

Embarrassing blogger confession: I don't use my DSLR anymore. Don't get me wrong, I love my Nikon, but ever since I discovered I can get brilliant, fast, really fun images from the telephone I already carry in my pocket 24 hours a day, well... game over man, game over.

Man, this is me--exactly. I feel guilty about it... only when I admit it here in our digital scrapbooking world. The rest of the day, I LOVE my phone and what I can do with it. :D
 
Anyone use those apps that where mentioned? I'm assuming they aren't free, so I'd love to know more if anyone uses any of these:

camera+
afterglow
snapseed

Camera+ is WAY better than the iPhone camera app!!! Totally!!!

I also use Snapseed and Photo Toaster for editing. You don't need Instagram. Just take your photos in Camera+ then crop and add filters with either Snapseed or Photo Toaster. Your original photo is saved.

Snapseed is free and Afterglow is only $.99. Can't beat that! :) I haven't used either of them, but I love finding new photo apps. Another I found recently that I LOVE is Picfx.
 
thanks so much for sharing! i need to read this & study it like there's going to be a quiz... because my iphone pics are pretty shameful :?
