We're HOME!!

Hi everyone!

Just a quick note to thank you all for the well-wishes and to let you know that we're home now! I wasn't expecting to get to come home til tomorrow, but the doctor thought I was doing great and saw no reason for me to stay. I'm SO thankful because I didn't sleep at all last night. I've literally had about 6 hrs sleep since I gave birth 2 1/2 days ago, so I'm glad to be home where I can hopefully get a little more rest.

Chloe is perfectly AMAZING. I've got a boat load of pics to wow you with, but I don't feel like sitting up and editing right now. Hopefully in the next few days I'll be able to share some. Just suffice it to say that she's incredible and perfect in every way.

I miss you guys and can't wait til I feel up to sitting at the computer again!

Glad you and Miss Chloe are home and doing well!! Good luck on settling in at home and can't wait to see more photos :)

YAY!!! I'm so glad you're home and early... can't wait to see pics!

Did they give you a belly wrap/binder? That will really help with getting in and out of bed and moving around without it hurting so much!!! I had to get one from a medical store after my first one... but they gave me one in the hospital after my 3rd since I forgot to pack mine for the hospital.

Awwww Libby so happy you are home and will be able to get some rest now. Hospitals are the worst for rest. They always come in to bother you with blood pressure and temperature readings...It's like really can I just sleep already!!!?

Can't wait for the pictures but don't rush or push yourself too fast, you do need to rest. TAke care!

Such a great feeling to be home!! I hope you get some rest...we'll, of course, be waiting to see that little cutie!! :)

So glad to hear you guys are home!!! Rest up and enjoy every second with that beautiful little girl!

Can't wait to see more pictures of her.

So glad you are home safe and that litle Chole is doing well. Please take it slow and don't push yourself. Let Jeff wait on you hand and foot...let your body heal!!!

Glad you're home and doing well! Can't wait to see more baby pics, but please enjoy her and get some rest!

Yay! So glad you are home and doing well. Can't wait to see more of those pics!

It's such a shame that hospitals don't let you rest more. Since I was on magnesium sulfate with Kaylin, they were checking my BP and reflexes every.single.hour for two days straight. No sleep. Insane.

Hope you'll be able to get a little more rest now. Just hold that sweet baby, find a comfortable spot, and sleep.

Aww... its great that you are home now. I hear you on no sleep in the hospital. I hate hospitals something fierce and having to stay there when I had my babies was the worst. Mine were both c-section too. My first I stayed less than 40 hours and I was so grateful to leave. She was born during a baby boom here in town though and, to be quite honest, they needed my bed for another mother. LOL I was thrilled to go home though. My next one came along and they made me stay 3 full days. I was miserable.

I second the belly wrap. I didn't get one with my first. I got one with my second and it was so much easier. My incision site also healed better (left very little scar) the second time and I attribute that party to the wrap.

Lydia, I hear you on the magnesium sulfate and hourly checkups. Mag sulfate is bad enough without being disturbed every little bit. :(

Hooray for sleeping in your own bed! Im so glad baby Chloe is happy and healthy and gorgeous lol. Cant wait to see more pics . . :)

So glad everything's okay and you're at home Libby. Enjoy your little girl and get a lot of rest.

The hospitals are really blah when it comes to rest after giving birth. Here, you have to stay a whole week there after a c-section. It's such a blast to finally be in your own bed, isn't it? :)

Congratulations on Chloe's birth and I'm glad you're back at home :)
I hope you have a smooth and fast recovery, Libby :)

So glad you and Chloe are home, and everyone is doing well - hope you had a restful night!

Aww I'm glad you're home, I hated being in the hospital after having my 2, I loved being at home where I felt more comfortable. I can't wait to see the photos! :)
