Well Fay has arrived...

We started getting the outer bands this morning and it has been raining all day and we're still on the eastern side of it. I'm supposed to have my mom's b-day party tomorrow and just watch it'll flood and no one will be able to get here and I'll be stuck with a cake and tons of food that I can't eat. :glare:

The upside is that it's made for a very cool breezy lazy day for August in the south lol..even DS seems to be lulled by the rain today and has been pretty calm.
 
Oh gosh I hope it leaves you quicker then it did us. We are still getting some rain from Fay. Supposed to be done this afternoon/evening for us though so heres hoping
 
Did somebody say cake?! Yummm!! I would love to help you out with that but I am too far away! LOL!!! I hope Fay doesn't linger too long around you!!!
 
We're getting our turn with her too. Blugg. Like you say though it's made for some nice cooler weather which is sooo welcome.

Hope your party goes off without a hitch!!
 
Dang! I'm in Naples, where it first hit, and we're STILL getting rain from the bands....everywhere is flooded so the rain we keep getting has NOwhere to go. It's rained everyday since that storm hit last Tuesday - hard rain!
 
ACK! I hope you girls get some good weather soon! But please don't send it my way cause I'm at the beach! :)

I was gonna say you could send it up here to west central Ohio, but what did come up already all went to the far and opposite end of the county. We are so parched. the crops are desperate for rain around here.
 
Well, it rained all night and pretty much all day but today it was mostly a misty drizzle kind of thing. The party went fine though. I think it's supposed to wrap back around though and we have rain in the forecast for 3 more days...nothing like it was in Florida though.
 
Im glad you guys are safe and your party wasnt affected sweety! I know how stressful party planning is without inclimate weather! Hugs sweety!
