I knew the witch was coming so I bought supplies but BOO on AF :( and even more so, BOO on first postpartum AF :( Parker is 5 months and I'm exclusively breastfeeding but I knew it would come eventually...esp. b/c he sleeps for about 7 hours at night now. (wish Naomi would  )

It's raining too. I'm not getting out of bed today!

  I'm thinking I will be receiving my first post partum *present* soon.

DH is not going to be happy knowing there is a possibility of a hormone breakdown  I feel like I do before I have a period, but no 'signs' that it is on it's way. Kieran is 11 weeks old and EBF, so I am really hoping it stays away a bit longer.

Hope your day gets better!!

I always hated my first postpartum AF. It was so nice when she stayed away. You deserve some hot chocolate, and a nice fluffy robe and lounging with chick flicks!

Yeah boo for first PP periods. I got mine at 3 mos PP. I didn't expect that since I was exclusively BFing (and DD was a voracious nurser, not sleeping for any long chunk of time), but I guess my system protested, lol.

Hope you have a nice relaxing day and feel better soon!

I EBF all my babies, and got my period within just a few weeks. It totally sucked, and the first couple PP were brutal. Get some meds, and lie down for a bit.

PP AF sucks, but I would have given anything to go 5 months! I EBF with Avery and AF still showed up around 6 weeks PP. Now I am stuck with her monthly visits until the change as there are no more babies for me.

Me too. Mine started back up 6 weeks after giving birth, just as I stopped bleeding from the birth. Sucked. All 5 times, too.

well then I feel lucky!

I did have to end up going out today...but for a good reason. I really didn't want to get out of bed though lol.

AF's gonna die if she shows up next month. i got an IUD to prevent this nonsense and she's a persistant little bugger.

Oh honey, that's not fun at all. I was one of the fortunate ones who didn't get it 'til I stopped nursing a year later. (running like heck to get out of the way of any darts that might be thrown at me!) It's weird how every woman's body is different. I think you deserve a day in bed for sure!
