Well ladies, congrats to those who lost last week. I know summer is super hard for weight loss. I should have NOT weighed in as I have not been following the points at all for the last 3 weeks and I have gained 3.8 lbs and well, I decided I better fix it now. I started back on points today and stuck to it perfect!! I did figure out I have been emotionally eating since the surgery as the hysterectomy was the absolute end to my ever getting pregnant dream. Now that I know that, I can change my habits and move on. Can't wait to see your numbers this week ladies and if you have a bad week or 3 like me, lol, please know you are not alone and we are all here for you.

Awww Mel! I'm sorry! I'm glad you're back on track though. You're doing great!! I know it's hard when you're recovering. You'll have those extra pounds gone in no time though!

I don't weigh in til friday, but I've had a tough time this week. I'm sticking to it for the most part, but I find myself wanting a late night snack each night. I'm doing ok and not making super bad choices, but still... I need to plan better.

Tonight was rough cause I had an informational meeting to go to, and it was held at a mexican food restaurant. They provided appetizers, and it was during happy hour so margaritas were 1/2 off. OMG, what a test of my willpower. At that moment, I wanted nothing more than a big greasy quesadilla and a frozen margarita. LOL I'm happy to report that I was a good girl and only splurged on one little "hershey miniature" that was in the gift bags. Still, it was NOT easy!

Hang in there Melly! You're still recovering, but you'll be back in fighting shape before you know it. And, you hang in too, Libby. I definitely understand having a rough week!

Yes - it was a rough week for me, mostly because of my bad attitude. Also, we had a couple things happen that depleted our checking account so I haven't been able to go buy some of the food that I wanted to have around. I should be able to fix that this week, and that will make things a little easier.

So, considering that I have a bad attitude and this last week was hard, I was happy with a big ol' ZERO this week. I'm back walking in the mornings, so hopefully, this next week will be better.

Can't wait to hear how all of you gals have been doing!

Hang in there everyone! Sometimes it seems like this weight loss journey is never-ending.... and in reality, I guess it is. It's frustrating to see people on shows like the Biggest Loser reach their goals in a few months, when for a lot of us, it takes more like years! I've been at this since 2007, and there have been quite a few bumps in the road, but I haven't given up yet, and I don't plan on it.

I didn't weigh in last week but I am down 5.6 pounds since I re-started a month ago, so I'm pretty happy with that.

Looks like a few of us are struggling so we need to kick in the "you can do it" cheerleading more. LOL!! Lori, congrats on your loss, that is amazing. It is a long process and involves life changes. But I know we can all do it. :)

I'm so thankful that today isn't my weigh in day. I had Jeff's AMAZING homemade stir fry last night. It's seriously one of my favorite things. It's low in calories, but high in sodium. So, I'm all bloated up like a whale today. I think I'll be drinking some extra water (and I totally don't regret the stir fry - it was amazing)

Add me to list of those who are struggling! I let myself eat what I wanted make some "good" choices last week. I'm up 2 pounds. I full intended on starting to count points again yesterday and then chose not to. I need a kick in the butt I guess. I know I really want to lose 20 more before mid-October (wedding to go to) but food tastes too good sometimes. KWIM????

Yep...that's my problem...food is just too good. I've wondered if that is what that Sensa does...make it taste bad so you won't eat it.

Tracy - I've wondered about Sensa as well. I'm thinking it swells up in your stomach making you feel fuller faster? I have a friend that is using it so I will ask her and see.

I think when the kids are back next week I'll do better. My youngest loves to be the food police and ask me if I can have things before I eat them. Do you have points for that mommy? How many points is that? What is that many points? LOL...makes me not want to eat a thing so I don't have to answer a hundred questions.

Well I lost 0.8 this week. Slow and steady right?

Total 35.8 lbs now and I'm in a new "decade" of weight that I haven't been in since my son was first born...7 years ago.

This week's excitement was buying a cute little denim skirt in the JUNIORS dept. Granted it was still the biggest size in Juniors, but hey...I'm still happy about it.

School starts in one week and I'm hoping to ramp up my exercise a little more and I know I'll do better with food without my boy around.

So how did everyone else do? This thread has been kinda quiet this week.

Good job, Tracy! That's gotta feel good to be able to buy that skirt! I can't wait for that moment when I can buy something new... heck, right now I'd be happy to get into my pre-pregnancy jeans without looking like a stuffed sausage. LOL

I just weighed in this morning... I'm also down 0.8 lbs. That makes my total 5.6 - I'm happy with that considering I started my period yesterday. I usually retain a few pounds of water, so I'm hoping that my loss is a little bigger next week.

We've been having our bathroom remodeled this month. Tomorrow makes 3 weeks that it's been out of commission. We've been able to shower at night after the contractor leaves, but it's off limits during the day. So, I haven't wanted to exercise in the mornings and get all sweaty. It's *this close* to being finished though, so my goal for next week is to start exercising again. I'm not looking forward to it, but I know I'll feel a lot better once I get used to it again (I haven't done much at all since I got pregnant last year, so I'm way out of shape).

Also trying to make sure I drink at least 5 bottles of water a day. I'm never thirsty, so I have to force myself to do it. It's getting a lot easier though!

Hope everyone else had a good week!

I have to remind myself to drink the water too. I think I could probably go all day with nothing to drink and be fine. LOL! Good job Libby!!!

I'm terrible about water too. I usually drink at night to help me not snack. But, it doesn't add up to much. I need to be much better about it during the day.

Hugs Melissa. Some times accepting a change you did not want calls for some kind of emotional release and eating has always worked for me. But good for you for realizing it and grabbing the bull by the horns now.

Sounds like we all need to support each other more than ever now as we go through the dieting blues. This crap is hard!

So I finally got back on the scale after taking my break and am up two pounds. I actually don't feel horrible about it because I have been eating all the wrong stuff in all the wrong quantities. Started back to eating right and tracking this morning, so hopefully I will be able to pull it all together. I still have a long way to go to meet my 100 pound goal by the end of the year. :)
